Is it normal to gain blackheads and large pores after rhinoplasty on my nose?

I got my dorsal hump removed and septoplasty. I gained large pores and black heads on my nose, and before my rhino I never had such large pores on my nose and never had black heads before ever in my entire life. Will my skin go back to normal on my nose or will my pores remain large?

The rhinoplasty itself should have minimal effect on skin and I would expect it to return to normal.  In the short run many patients experience acne breakouts due to swelling from the procedure.  Many people will also be oily and even have breakouts from the protective splint I assume you had in place following surgery.  These issues will resolve.

Good day and thank you for your inquiry, Due to the splint on your nose post surgery and the changes your nose underwent, I suspect pores and black heads are a natural reaction. The splint clogged your pores and created friction where there was none. My suggestion is to consult with a dermatologist who can give you a good skin care routine to help you return your skin back to it's original state and who can follow up with your skin care progress. Best of Luck!

Hi-  Your skin may take time to heal following your rhinoplasty but skin care is something totally separate and you should follow up with a dermatologist or your plastic surgeon regarding your skin care. There are many excellent options to improve your overall skin health. Good Luck!
