Thanks for your question and posting a picture. First, you should consider a series of LHR treatments to stop additional hair from growing. The dark spot look like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). You would need a comprehensive medical consultation to determine what treatment would be best for your skin type. PicoSure FOCUS is safe for all skin types. We have seen dramatic improvement in hyperpigmentation with our patients. This laser does not open the skin barrier. You may experience redness for 0 to 4 hours.BACKGROUND: The PicoFOCUS gently delivers bursts of energy deep in the dermis without causing harm to the overlaying skin. The pulses work to break up pigment and stimulates new collagen and elastin production. Your body’s own healing process sweeps away older, damaged tissue and ramps up skin turnover. Some pigment will actually travel to the surface making it initially appear darker. We normally recommend a series of 4 treatments; 1 every 4 weeks. Do not be concerned if your pigment goes away and then comes back within days to weeks; pigment is usually multiple layers deep and clears layer by layer.
I would use a vascular laser to help zap away the red dot on the tip of your nose. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian#Realself100 Surgeon
