Treatment for self harm scars? Tried 2 microneedling and 1 fractional laser (halo). Not much improvement! (Photos)

I have self harm scars on my arm. I have had 2 micro needling with PRP and 1fractional laser(Halo). I don't see much improvement. Do you think it will get better? I have developed hyperpigmentation and I am applying lytera cream. Some scars are narrower than before but is there anything else to improve it?

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

It will take a series of lasers and microneedling/prp treatments to get improvement. Hyperpigmentation can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

The most important thing is that the cause and reasoning of the scars have stopped. See your Dr for this.
Microneedling and PRP over time may help fade the scarring over many series of treatments.
