I am 4 weeks post op bbl and found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. At the time of surgery my pregnancy test all came back negative because my hcg levels were still low. I am now healing from surgery and going through morning sickness with the pregnancy. I feel like crap. To top it off, my stomach is hard and lumpy. Will that ever go away? And how will it effect my baby?

Thank you for your question.You need to discuss your situation with both your Plastic Surgeon and Obstetrician. The minor discomfort should resolve as well as the lumpiness from liposuction. It is important is make sure that the pregnancy is going on okay at this time. All The Best !

So sorry to hear about atypical postoperative course; I'm sure you have significant anxiety about the health of your baby. Best thing is to check in with your obstetrician; he or she will be able to assess the development of your baby as your pregnancy progresses. Given that you're only 7 weeks into the pregnancy, not much monitoring can happen yet, but a conversation now with the obstetrician will help you and him/her plan out the best plan of action over the ensuing weeks.Hope this helps - Sam Jejurikar, MD
