The amount of fat removed in liposuction is called the supranatant fat and does not include the liquid anesthetic component that comes out as well. Your amount seems normal but can v ary dependent on height, man or woman, size of thickness of fat.

This is a reasonable amount to remove in the average sized individual and amounts to just over 1 pound. However, if this is achieved in a 90 lb individual the results will vary dramatically from the same amount in a 250 lb individual.

There is NO "normal" amount volume of fat removal from Abdomen and Love Handles. The amount removed would depend on the average size of a Plastic surgeon's patients.

	I KNOW that my Plastic surgery colleagues in Beverly Hills 90210 , where everyone is close to perfect figured, routinely suction a lot LESS from their average patient than I suction at 38119 (Memphis, TN). Maybe that is why they have to go to the gym more often than I do...

	The maximum amount of supernatant fat than can be suctioned in an outpatient setting is 5,000cc. At 1,050cc you are not considered anywhere close to a "large volume" liposuction.
