Should I consider a revision to correct redness and hypertrophic scarring 7 months after mini facelift? (photos)

Question

had a mini mac 7 1/2 months ago. Still redness at the surgical cuts . Could this mean that the dr. could of possibly created too much trauma to the area? 6 weeks after surgery. Pulling down jaw line / pixie ears hypertropic scarring behind ears and down below ear lobes . Had 8 kenalog injections . Laser for redness . 7 1/2 months still pulling , reness, and a lump forming atbon3 ear lobe . Dr. Says he did low tension surgery . I need revision done on both ears . Should i trust the same Dr. ?

It is clear from the pics you've posted that your incisions felt a tremendous amount of tension after your surgery. I am not sure what technique your surgeon used but this is clear evidence of a closure that was not tension free. What I am uncertain about is whether or not you have any skin healing issues that were unknown prior to surgery and also how much head and neck turning you expose yourself to daily that could worsen the problem. 
The reality is that you will need a deep plane facelift to securely reduce maximum tension around the ears and get enough skin lifted to resect the old scar and restart from scratch. Men tend to scar incredibly well in the vast majority of cases. Some ethnic groups of men might have higher risk of hypertrophic scarring such as African-Americans. I have seen this in a man with very Irish skin but his job had him turning his head to look at his computer 12-16 hours a day. The facelift incision on the side opposite to where he was looking was sitting under lots of tension for hours a day. It had a thick ropey scar that I then removed and fixed. I made him put his computer monitors in front of him so he wasn't turning while working. That did the trick!

you definitely should determine how much tension is in your face, because further surgery can lead to even worsening of scars. Typically lifting deeper tissues and avoiding tension is the key step in avoiding wider stretched scars. If your deeper tissues weren't lifted and there is still enough laxity, you may benefit from a full revision deep plane facelift.

You need this converted into a standard facelift. The procedure you had put too much tension around the ears.  I would go to another surgeon especially one who can deal with the earlobes properly.
