7.5 cm forehead — brow lift or forehead reduction for a smaller-looking forehead? (Photo)

Question

I have a 7.5 cm forehead and I’m trying to figure out the best procedure to make it look smaller and more feminine. I’m confused between two options: • Forehead reduction (hairline lowering) • Brow lift to give the illusion of a shorter forehead My main goals are: • A visibly smaller forehead • Very feminine eyebrow position/shape • A balanced upper face (Barbie‑like proportions) Is the position of my eyebrows already feminine enough or is a lift actually needed?

An ideal forehead length in a female is 6 to 6.5 cm.  A forehead reduction can effectively reduce your forehead length and that is what you need.  However, the sam incision can be used to ADD a forehead lift or brow elevation and repositioning as well.  The combination achieves both functional and aesthetic goals. See our gallery below.

Based on your photos a forehead reduction is the ideal procedure for you.  During the procedure the brows can be lifted to the desired level.

It is very likely that moderate reduction of forehead height and brow lift, rather shaping of brows,  is possible to achieve with the same procedure using hairline incision. However, based on this photo, you may have a condition known as eyelid ptosis, droopy eyelids, which can be confirmed only on the basis of in person consultation. Good luck.

First of all, a side view photograph is helpful. Next, and importantly, there's nothing wrong with your forehead. It is perfectly fine.  If you dislike your high hairline we can advance it or you can do hair grafts, or both.  An eyebrow lift is not the answer for you.
