I had a TT with MR 11 months and Two months ago I went back for more lipo on my tummy. I think one side was left with more fat then the other. I am very very unhappy with my results and it’s messing with my emotions and making me depressed. Could I get it fixed even know I am only two months post op? I know it’s not swelling because it’s jiggly and it hasn’t change in size As the other selling goes away this looks worse

Answer: 2months post-op, liposuction. None Plastic Surgeon or any surgeon will suggest so early post-op reoperation especially for liposuction. If you do that you increase the possibilities of irregularities and asymmetrical removal fat. I suggest to wait at least six months necessary period of inner healing and the plastic surgeon will know more accurately where he or she will interfere with liposuction.

Answer: Unhappy with liposuction results my recommendation is to not have a revision with in the first six months of the areas you had liposuction. This is not a matter of swelling but rather a scar tissue maturation. Going in prematurely next procedure much more difficult for the surgeon. In order to get the best results you should wait at least six months before considering a revision. Poorly done liposuction can be difficult to correct. As long as you were not over treated then improvements can generally be made with revision liposuction. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
