Thank you for your question. Yes, all three of these procedures can safely be done in one session. You should schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with all three of these procedures to discuss your goals and concerns. The surgeon should assess your overall health and determine if you are a good candidate for combining the three procedures. Hope this helps.
I would need to examine you to make a determination of your candidacy for these procedures; if you are healthy, all three procedures can be combined and performed at the same time. Select a plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of body contouring each year, has great reviews, and has great before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hi Lalabates, Thank you for your question regarding whether an arm lift or brachioplasty, a breast lift with augmentation, and liposuction of the back can be performed in one surgery. Yes, I believe all these procedures can be safely combined at one time. I often combine the arm lift and the breast lift with augmentation at the same time. It would not take too much longer to perform back liposuction. Logistically, first, I would perform your back liposuction. Second, I would perform your arm lift or brachioplasty. Third, I would perform your breast augmentation with breast lift. Before any plastic surgery is contemplated, I would suggest you undergo routine blood tests, EKG, and chest x-ray. Please seek a qualified plastic surgeon with significant experience in these procedures. If you have any further questions regarding an arm lift, arm reduction, brachioplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, mastopexy, and back liposuction, please contact my office. Good luck! Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.
thank you for your question. If you are healthy and do not have any medical problems, there is no reason why you cannot proceed with all the procedures. When doing combination procedures you are under anesthesia for a longer period and with certain medical problems that can make you high-risk. I would discuss this with your doctor had of time.
Important question. As long as you are in good physical health this should be able to be performed at he same time. Increasing age, medical issues, obesity, smoking are some of the risk factors that could affect your safety and outcome. Consult with your doctor regarding your individual risks.
Although it is possible to combine multiple surgeries into one trip to the operating room, I tend to limit the total operating time to 6 hours or less. In my hands, it may be possible to do the procedures that you are interested in. However, it would depend upon how extensive your specific surgical needs would be. For instance, if you simply needed a doughnut mastopexy that is a shorter operation than a full mastopexy. Also, there is a minimal scar brachioplasty that requires less operative time than a traditional incision brachioplasty. I hope this help you on your journey.-Paige
Thank you for your inquiry. Multiple surgeries are definitely possible. You will need to have health clearance before any decision is made. I typically advise my patients to stick with either the front or the back. If you have breast surgery, you will spend most of your recovery on your back. So if you have liposuction on your back, it may be difficult. Please discuss these issues with your surgeon. Best of Luck
Yes you can do multiple surgeries like you are asking. Just need a good medical clearance from your doctor and be able to get some help from a love one post op. Its hard to get out of bed with a brachioplasty and an aug and a lift . You will need some good help from someone to help you get around for the first few days. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Hi Latoyat28, Thank you very much for your questions regarding your open arm pit wound after your arm lift or brachioplasty. It is very important that you follow up with your local plastic surgeon. The wound is getting larger because of tension in the arm wound. With your type of arm lift,...
Hello Jennasunshine in Lexington, Thank you for your question about the issues with the skin around your arm lift (brachioplasty) scar, and for providing your history and pictures. It's not uncommon to experience a seroma following brachioplasty. A seroma is an accumulation of serous fluid,...
Thank you for your question regarding exercise and compression garments after your arm lift. Typically, I recommend avoiding strenuous upper-body exercises, including push-ups and pull-ups, for at least 8–12 weeks after surgery. These exercises place significant strain on the arms and may d...
