Can 5fu be injected on the day of scar revision surgery into a wound or is that too soon?

Hello I wanted to know i it possible to inject 5fu onto a surgical wound before closing it to prevent scar reformation? One doctor said the wound won't heal if this is done but another doctor said it can b done. When is the best time for 5fu scar injection for surgical blepharoplasty revision patient?

It is difficult to give advice without photos. For eyelid surgery revision I wait until at least 6 months after surgery. Things that would make you a good candidate would be remaining excess skin, wide scar, or asymmetry. Good luck!
