What can I do to help this scar? (Photo)

in the first month or so, the scar was thin and flat but now it is raised, red and wide. what can I do? The surgery was about six months ago. would scar revision help or should I try steroid injections? I am using silicone and it seems to be flattening it a little bit but it’s still very awful looking
