Answer: Combined procedures There’s no yes or no answer to your question. For us to make an assessment we need to see pictures. A lot of depends on how extensive each procedure is going to be. If you’re going to have 5 L of fat removed with your Liposuction and you have massive amounts of loose skin that requires an aggressive thigh lift with very large breast then it may be too much surgery. If you just need a small amount of Liposuction and your thigh lift is easy and straightforward and your breast are modest in size then it is very much doable in one procedure. We generally recommend elective cosmetic surgery, not to be scheduled for more than six hours, though there are cosmetic surgeries that take longer than that done on a regular basis. There are advantages and also disadvantages of doing combined procedures. If you have a plastic surgeon, then discuss your options with him or her. If you don’t have a plastic surgeon, then you have some work ahead of you. Provider selection is by far the most important variable And is what determines what type of outcomes are you going to have. Quality outcomes and overall patient satisfaction, including having a positive experience. It’s all related to the surgeon you’re working with. Each person will have their own candidacy for surgery as well. I generally recommend patients consult with several plastic surgeons before choosing one. There’s a lot to discuss. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations patients schedule the more likely they are to find the right provider for their needs. I recommend patients avoid virtual consultations and instead schedule in person consultations exclusively. Having only one consultation and scheduling surgery is one of the most common mistakes I see. Having only one consultation eliminates the ability to choose a better provider.
