It looks like your earlobe surgery is healing nicely. I am not sure why the sutures were left in for three weeks. I would expect more like 7 to 10 days. In any case it seems to be healing nicely and I expect that there will be minimal scarring. Repairing earlobes that have been "gauged" is always difficult because the tissue has been stretched so much. Often one needs to save as much of that tissue as possible to re-create a normal looking earlobe.This needs skill to rearrange the tissue and put the jigsaw puzzle together in a way that looks normal.
Hello MT214- Your earlobe scar appears to be healing normally. All incisions will become pink/red for awhile and then gradually fade to white over 3-12 months. Wait to re-pierce it until your surgeon says that it is ok. Best of luck.
