You need to trust your surgeon and follow his recommendations, The most important thing in this procedure is to do it in the safest way and give you a realistic results. I thing that from the before and after photos that you gave you will be very pleased with the results

You have to take into account that ~50% of the fat volume injected does not survive, so 1000cc is actually not 1000cc once things settle down and the swelling goes away. Also, depending on the technique used many surgeons inject a large amount of fluid with the fat.

have faith, it's unlikely your plastic surgeon would like to you.  Your before and after pictures could consistent with approximately 1000 mL of fat.  There really are way too many variables. For example if you're 4 foot 9 then less than 1000 mL could get that results. If you're 6 foot 11 then 1000 mL could not get you those results. Your results are quite nice and you should be pleased.  You cannot compare yourself to some of the most dramatic before and after pictures floating around the Internet.  I've seen providers use "on the table" after pictures as there are true before and after pictures.  Your results are typical good results for a typically  well perform BBL.  Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
