I had a previous breast reduction and tummy tuck in 2022. The scarring on my body was horrific. Lumpy and discoloured. I found Dr. Deal online talking about his techniques for minimizing scars during his surgeries. I reached out and asked if he would consider trying to fix the scarring on my body, especially on my breasts. I had approached 3 previous plastic surgeons who basically told me that nothing could be done - they labeled my scars hypertrophic and wouldn't touch them. Dr. Deal said he could help. And help he did. I went in for the scar revision and liposuction in October 2025. The difference in how my scars have healed this time is night and day. We have since determined that it was poor suture technique from my first surgery. I am olive skinned so scars heal darker on me, but even so, this revision is more than I could have ever hoped for. I recommend Dr. Deal and his team 100%. I am awaiting my before and after pictures. I will post them when I get them.

Two years ago, I went to see Dr. Summers at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN, for a tummy tuck and Lipo 360. But what happened changed more than just my appearance, It may have saved my life. When I woke up from what was supposed to be my surgery, I was told that Dr. Summers had discovered a mass covering one of my ovaries during the surgery. I will forever be grateful for his integrity and concern for my health, he did not proceed with the surgery. Instead, he recommended I get it checked out immediately. I’m beyond grateful for his honesty and care. The mass turned out to be non-cancerous, thankfully, but it was large and needed to be removed. If it hadn’t been discovered, who knows how long it would’ve gone unnoticed? After I recovered and was cleared by my medical team, I returned to Dr. Summers to reschedule my tummy tuck and Lipo 360 and I couldn't be happier with the results! He did an incredible job. If I had any questions or concerns, I could text him directly and he was always quick to respond. I've had a wonderful experience being Dr. Mason's patient. During consultations he was incredibly professional, really nice and transparent which was helpful. He listened to my input and together we came to the best game plan for my procedure. He put a lot of care and attention into my specific situation, which is obv what you want from your doctor. On the surgical side, he surpassed my expectations! He is a highly skilled surgeon and I am over the moon with my results.

I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360 as well as breast augmentation. Dr. Deal was my main surgeon with help from Dr. Summers. They were both great and I’m loving my results! I’m only 5 weeks post op so still recovering and dealing with swelling. I’m a little disappointed I had to have a small vertical scar because my old belly button couldn’t be pulled all the way down, but I’m hopeful it can be taken care of in the second stage surgery. I love my breast augmentation and so happy I didn’t have to have a lift! All the staff at SSA were so nice and accommodating. I also love that I can do virtual post op appts since I don’t live close.
