I had my in person consult today and surgery with Dr. Deal tomorrow and so far everything has been beyond great. Dr. Deal answered all of my questions and took his time explaining everything in great detail. Jordan was also amazing helping me with my sizing. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360 as well as breast augmentation. Dr. Deal was my main surgeon with help from Dr. Summers. They were both great and I’m loving my results! I’m only 5 weeks post op so still recovering and dealing with swelling. I’m a little disappointed I had to have a small vertical scar because my old belly button couldn’t be pulled all the way down, but I’m hopeful it can be taken care of in the second stage surgery. I love my breast augmentation and so happy I didn’t have to have a lift! All the staff at SSA were so nice and accommodating. I also love that I can do virtual post op appts since I don’t live close.

I first discovered Dr. Mason on Instagram through a video where he was reviewing a case study I had participated in. After exploring more of his work, I was impressed and decided to contact Southern Surgical Arts to schedule a Zoom consultation with him. Going into it, I knew I wanted a breast lift, fat transfer, and possibly a revision or extension of a previous tummy tuck I’d had elsewhere, which I wasn’t fully satisfied with. I was very clear that I didn’t want implants, and unlike other surgeons I had spoken to, Dr. Mason completely respected that—he never pushed them on me. From that first conversation, I had a strong feeling he was the right surgeon for me. During our consultation, he explained that with fat grafting, most patients require multiple sessions to achieve their ideal look, whereas implants offer a more predictable outcome. I appreciated his honesty and was 100% comfortable with that information. About a month later, I came into the office for my pre-op appointment and met Dr. Mason in person. He was a bit shy at first but very personable and easy to talk to. We thoroughly reviewed the surgical plan, he answered all of my questions thoughtfully, and I left feeling confident and reassured. My breasts had quite a bit of asymmetry due to years of breastfeeding, weight gain, and then significant weight loss. I told him I just wanted them to be “sisters—not cousins”—and he completely understood. The morning of surgery, I arrived for my appointment and was warmly welcomed by the staff. Everyone was punctual, professional, and kind. We reviewed the plan again before he did his markings. I asked a few last-minute questions, and he answered them patiently. Everything moved quickly from there, and the next thing I remember was waking up comfortably in my hotel room. That evening, Dr. Mason’s fellow called to check in on me, which I really appreciated. The following day, I returned to the office for a post-op check. Dr. Mason examined everything, took photos, and made sure I was comfortable and doing well. While I knew it wasn’t the final result yet, I could already tell I was going to be happy with the outcome. I’m now three weeks post-op and couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Mason corrected the asymmetry in my breasts with the lift and fat grafting, gave me excellent liposuction results, and fixed the areas I was unhappy with from my previous tummy tuck. Dr. Mason is truly a gem, and I’m so grateful I found him.
