I'm six weeks post op and have these lines and lump under my chin that I'm wondering will they go away? Anyone else deal with this? Will massage break them up so they go away? I love everything but these lines n lump. Updated on 8 Nov 2019: Here is a pic of the lines, will massages get them down? What do you suggest? I had a very large double chin and genitics were the cause. I do so like how much is gone just not the lines. What have you done? Thanks. Updated on 17 Nov 2019: Going in for some skin tightening and will update after the next 4 sessions. If this doesn't work I will have to address this more strongly for a solution and fix. Hoping this works. Fingers crossed.
Dr. Tavassoli is off the charts amazing! I now have an hourglass figure and feel so good about my body. I can’t believe how easy the process was and I was literally back to work in 3 days. I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back to work Monday morning, I drove myself and I did not even need to take the pain medication any longer. Honestly, the pain during recover felt no different than how I feel when I have my fitness trainer in the gym, I was sore for sure and swollen though getting my boobs done was a way worse recovery. This surgery was worth every penny. My experience from the initial consultation to surgery was just easy and that group of people in the office are the best, loving, fun, knowledgeable, all beautiful and made everything easy. Thank you everyone! I will be back to get my lower body done next! I AM SO HAPPY! Tears of joy! One happy woman!!!!!!!!!
My experience went really well at Sonobello. I'm happy that I decided to move forward with having my procedure done, and not allow fears to outweigh my ultimate goal. The overall procedure went as expected, I was awake the whole time and did not feel a thing. Honestly I did feel a pinch hear and their but nothing that made me to uncomfortable. I noticed the results right away, but I did have some swelling that blasted about two months. After a few months I was fully able to see my results and the way it makes me feel I can not put into words. I would do this all over again no questions ASK!!! Thank you to all the Sonobello employees, MOM HAS GOT HER SEXYYY BACK. Updated on 28 Sep 2018: Sonobello I'm thankful for your doctor's magic touch. My husband is really digging my results that he can't keep his hands off me. He recently made a consultation appointment to get check out! Praying he has the same experience as I did.
My experience has been a great one. Naomi was very helpful through my whole entire experience still to this day she answers all of my questions that I have and has been very supportive of me. No matter what time of day or night it is she is always there and I am very grateful to have a person like her there. Dr. Travisoli has also been a very caring and supporting doctor i would not be where i am with my results if not for them. The staff is awsome and i love that when i walk in the door they know who i am and ask how im doin. Its like my new family. The nurses are great as well they call to see how im doin if i have any questions. This office has just been awsome the hole time they are quick to help answer questions and show how caring they are. I would not pick another location after being in this office. Altho this is the only office i been to.
After struggling with a "pooch" (and I never had kids) and trying several other treatments (Lipolase body-slimming and Zeltiq), with no noticeable results, I decided it was time to go "all in." I did some research and decided that traditional lipo was too invasive for me, so I went with laser lipo and chose Sono Bello because they offer services close to home. Yes, I read good and bad reviews and yes, I had some misgivings, but I went anyway. The consultation was with a pleasant woman who pressured me a little (by offering "today only discounts"), but since I had already decided to do it, it was ok. If you are really unsure, be cautious. I chose upper/lower abs and waist. Once paid, you are committed or lose your money. Day -7: I returned for the pre-op with my doctor (Jay Johnson) and he recommended adding the hips to create a smoother transition since I have a prominent booty. He also recommended the pubic area. I added the hips but declined the pubic area. He was pleasant enough but not overly warm and did not exude a high level of confidence, but the assistants did. Day 0: On the day of my procedure, I arrived and waited a short time before anyone showed up at the front desk. I was taken back about 15 minutes later and prepped for the procedure. Paula was my nurse and she was so incredibly sweet. She had me change into the paper panties and bra, dawn some compression stockings and a surgical gown, took a urine sample for a pregnancy test, and weighed me. then the doctor arrived to draw on my body to plan the procedure (picture). We spoke briefly, and again not much warmth, but it was ok. Paula then returned to insert theIV line. Although I have bad veins, she did well and I had no bruising at all! She gave me a few pills (antibiotic, xanax, and antinausea) and then gave me the shot of Demerol (wow!). I walked down to the procedure room and laid on the bed. She applied monitors to my chest and then they began. I really don't remember much of it at all (thank you Demerol), but it wasn't unpleasant in the least. Maybe I felt a pinch or two, but no pain at all. I do remember them having me roll to one side or the other to get around my waist and hips. Then suddenly, it was over. They cleaned me off and applied bandages (maxi pads). The doctor disappeared and Paula showed me what they removed... 2.25 liters of fat and fluid! She helped me dawn the compression garment (I call it the "iron maiden") and binder (both of which I hate!), and wheelchaired me to the recovery room. There we chatted a bit until my boyfriend showed up. She went over the procedure and postop instructions. Then they wheeled me down to the car. When we got home, I got in bed and slept about an hour and a half. Then he woke me, fed me, gave me my midday pills, and I slept for another 4 hours. My sweet boyfriend woke me so I wouldn't get too off cycle and we chatted, had a little dinner, and watched some tv. We noticed I leaked a little on one hip so we applied an additional pad on that area and then back to bed for me. I slept on a towel, but didn't notice any leakage in the morning. That day I took the Percocet midday and before bed and started taking the oral Arnica pills. Day 1: I slept ok, but turning was difficult. I'm sure the codeine helped me sleep. The most difficult part was peeing because the iron maiden has hook-n-eyes that attach at the crotch where no one who just had this procedure could possibly reach. Luckily, my boyfriend was ready to help (bless him!). This became a routine of frustration until the next day when I asked about it on the follow-up call. The nurse said it was ok to keep it unlatched and wear panties outside of the compression devices, so that's what I've been doing. I got in the shower, removed the pads (wow!). So here's the deal... they use maxi pads to absorb the fluid that leaks out from the open (and small incisions) after the procedure. When you get in the shower to let the water help release the adhesive tape, the pads swell. I took a clean garbage bag into the shower and slowly, carefully removed them. The hips had by far the most fluid, which makes sense since they are the lowest area treated. I was told to express extra fluid while in the shower, but none came out. In fact, I could barely see the incisions at all! I was VERY bruised, especially in the pubic area. I applied the Arnica cream to the bruises, avoiding the incisions, and reapplied bandages. I used regular (and generic) incontinence pads. DON'T remove the tape because otherwise they stick to everything. Just open them and apply the cloth side to the incisions using medical tape to attach them. I continued to take my antibiotic (3x daily), Arnica pills (3x daily), and switched to 800 mg of Ibuprofen (3x daily) instead of Percocet (I don't like opiates). Then I went about having a decent day. I drank a ton of water, peed frequently (which was easier since not clasping the crotch of the iron maiden), and took a few walks around the block to keep my circulation flowing. Ate a light dinner with a little wine, watched a movie, and went to bed. Day 2: Much easier to get up and move around, but still tender in the midsection and hips. Took my meds, showered, and decided I didn't need any more bandages because there was very minimal leakage at the incisions. Still lots of bruises (pictures attached). We went to the store, took a few walks, and I made dinner! Took my pills and drank lots of water. This is supposed to be the worst day of discomfort. Day 3: Woke up early. I washed the iron maiden, showered, had breakfast, took meds, got dressed and bound, and went to work by 9am. I'm now taking the antibiotic (3x daily and 800 mg ibuprofen 2x daily) but forgot the arnica pills. So far so good. Can't wait to get to my 10day postop (1 week would be Christmas day so I have to wait a few extra days). The hardest part is the stupid garments. They are always getting bunched up around my midsection and I don't want funny wrinkles in my new tummy so I'm constantly rearranging them. So far, I very pleased because I see the result I was looking for. Now I just have to remain patient with these awful garments. I can't wait to get back into the gym and yoga studio and really see the results take form with additional strength training. Doc says I have to wait a whole month. Grrr... Things to consider: 1) read all you can before you go to the consultation so you don't feel pressured by a great deal 2) be prepared for discomfort/inconvenience from the garments 3) have your loyal partner or a trusted friend with you to help maneuver while you learn how to manage bandages/garments 4) try to get as fit as you can before the procedure since you'll not be able to workout except walking for about a month 5) for me, the discomfort has only been about like a really hard workout, but this could vary by person of course 6) drink lots of water pre and postop, and walk several times a day -- I really think this helped me 7) teach your photographer how to take pre/post shots beforehand :-) (they probably haven't looked at as many as you have) I hope this summary helps those of you considering this procedure. Honestly, it hasn't been as bad as I expected and I'm thrilled. Sure, it's not cheap. But diet and exercise alone were not going to get me the body I want. I'm now very motivated to get this into really good shape and maintain what I've achieved.
I knew I wanted to do lipo even though I know the outcome for my body will still leave loose skin. But it's really not bad to how I thought it would be. After my surgery I did regret for not jumping to tummy tuck first, but I was desperate and just started a new job and had a new born. All I cared was looking slimmer during that time. But I do like the result my doctor gave me. He contoured my body and gave me shape. The only thing I'm not happy about is that my left stomach has this extra hang I think can be fixed but the nurse said it would still be uneven after I fix it. I'm not too happy about that hang and hope to get it fixed. I did heal within 3 weeks. Although it took 5 months to finally see the end results.
About a year ago I went through 1 cycle of cool sculpting. It left me with a form of hyperplasia, causing my stomach and waist tissue to toughen and enlarge. The only cure is to remove with liposuction. I am now preparing to get correctional liposuction on my abdomen and waist. Ive booked my appointment dr. Michael A. Giuffrida at sonobello. He seems to be a pretty good surgeon and I'm very impressed with his work. I'm really nervous honestly, because I'm the type of girl who would be the one in a million with a rare side effect. A little background I am 5'7" and 149lbs. 22 years old with. No children and 1 former cosmetic procedure. My goal is to have a normal looking waist and stomach and be able to dress all cute again. Updated on 25 Sep 2015: Quite impressed with what I've seen so far. The medication made me fall asleep during the procedure. It didn't hurt at all. I was so happy when I looked at myself and my tummy looked flat. I haven't looked like this in years. I hope when the swelling is down I'll look fabulous!!!! Thank you dr. G Updated on 26 Sep 2015: So today I am not feeling much pain. The norco makes me really sleepy. I cleaned my house and walked my dogs with very little pain. I took my first shower and I really love how I look Updated on 26 Sep 2015: Updated on 26 Sep 2015: Updated on 27 Sep 2015: Updated on 2 Oct 2015: So I'm going in today for my post op appointment. I hope they aren't taking pictures today because I am still very bruised Updated on 6 Oct 2015: Dr. Giuffrida is absolutely amazing. After a previous procedure I was left with peridoxial adipose hyperplasia all over my stomach and flanks. I went to Dr.G to remove all of the damaged tissue and get a smaller waist. Although he was not familiar with the condition he assured me everything would turn out great. He is very attentive and made sure I did not experience any discomfort during the procedure. He also called immediately after leaving to ensure I made it home safely and was feeling alright. I really appreciate how kind his staff was to me during the whole procedure. I am currently 11 days post op and I'm extremely impressed with the results I am seeing so far. He has removed all of my stomach bulge and given my body a whole new shape! thank you
I wanted to write my review because I haven't seen many on here with loose skin before the procedure. 2 years ago I weighed in at 240 pounds. I lost weight rapidly and I've kept it off. I currently weigh 149 and I'm 5'5. I exercise rigorously and eat well but I haven't been able to get over my plateau for about a year now. My procedure is next week and I'm not too nervous... I've had quite a few surgeries in my short 28 years. I've added my pre-op pictures! I'm getting upper and lower abs, waist and hips. The hips are my biggest concern so hopefully I get the results I'm paying for! Wish me luck!!! Updated on 29 Jan 2015: Well I had my procedure today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! I actually fell asleep for most of it only waking up to turn over! The most uncomfortable part was the numbing solution. I looked so bloated like I was 6mo pregnant! They removed 1500ccs of fat/fluid from my body and I'm in the compression wrap so I can't tell what I look like at all so far... But I took a photo of what they had taken out and I'll post that along with this. I was prescribed Percocet and a Zpac (allergic to anmoxicillian). I was checking out some other reviews and feel like they didn't take out as much as I wanted but I still can't tell what I'm going to look like. I get to shower in the morning so I will post pics as soon as I can. Also I was told I can use arnica gel to reduce swelling and bruising so I applied that about 24hrs before the surgery. Crossing my fingers!!! Updated on 30 Jan 2015: I wanted to post my pictures from my natural weight loss to my pre op pictures. Just so people can get an idea on where I started to where I hit my plateau and decided lipo was my best option. I hope this helps people that are in my same situation! Updated on 30 Jan 2015: So I forgot I have a side view as well... The time difference is about 19 months. Then I hit my plateau... Hopefully the lipo gives me that little boost I need! Stay tuned for pictures after my first shower!! So giddy to see what's under all this!!! Updated on 30 Jan 2015: So let me start out with I was in 0 pain last night. I woke up a bit stiff and had some burning pain but nothing I can't handle. I was told I could shower the morning after and remove my dressings so I did. My fiancé is deployed right now and I was deployed right before he left... He wasn't happy with my decision until I wanted to see my body for the first time with him on FaceTime. I looked at myself and bawled my eyes out! I have no more love handles!!! It was a very raw and emotional experience and I couldn't be happier! My stomach is WAY BLOATED and SWOLLEN!! I'm hoping it goes down. I touch it and it feels like a waterbed lol! I can't wait to get back into the gym and kick some ass! Did anyone else have this much swelling and fluid day 1? I hope it goes down! Updated on 31 Jan 2015: I woke up today barely able to move!! I haven't passed any food since before the surgery so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with some of the abdominal pain... I'm trying to stay away from the Percocet unless it's absolutely necessary but man did I need it this morning!! My swelling has gone down a bit and I stopped draining! Posting side by side comparison pics too. I noticed my thighs are swollen... It looks like I have saddle bags but normally I don't! Has anyone had issues with constipation? Any tips on what to eat. Wearing the compression garment plus an abdominal binder... did anyone else wear one of these? If so did your swelling increase when you stopped wearing the binder? Updated on 6 Feb 2015: So I feel lumpy... Still quite tender and numb. Had my 1 week post op today. They said my incisions are healing nicely and I'm about 95% swollen still... I don't think I look too bad but I definitely want to look better. Talked to a girl at Sono bello about Venus freeze treatments for my loose skin on my lower belly so I'll see if I'm going to get that done depending on how I heal in the next couple weeks. She quoted me at 3000 for 12 treatments. Seems like a lot so I'll be shopping around for a better price. Posting before and 1 wk post op pics! Updated on 8 Feb 2015: I'm a little worried about these lumps below my ribs and around my belly button scar... Massaging doesn't seem to be making them dissipate... Any suggestions??? Updated on 12 Feb 2015: So today marks week two... The Dr. Said the initial swelling should be gone... So why am I still the same damn size? I look lumpy and have all these crazy uneven spots! I'm back in the gym lifting and doing some HIIT training... No running or sprints yet but I am back to hitting it hard! My diet isn't perfect I'm human but it's not full of greasy fast food or anything so why do I feel like I've wasted my money on this... When I bend ove my fat sack still hangs! My hips are uneven still and my pants fit the same! What did they take out of me because I can still grab handfuls of fat!!! Am I going to get smaller??? I'm on my stage 2 garment and I also bought another waist cincher to see if that will help! I'm seriously super depressed and kind of regretting this decision! Any advice??? Should I still be this size? Is this swelling??? WTF!!?? Updated on 24 Feb 2015: First of all I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support!! You all have been awesome! I've never been a water drinker so I decided to challenge myself to 100ml a day and boy can you tell a difference in the texture of my skin! I'm posting an up close photo only 5 days apart! I've been able to start running and sprinting again!!! I have a lymphatic massage scheduled for tomorrow and I'm hopeful it'll do what it's supposed to for my body!! Things have been looking up... I just need to be patient! Still wearing my compression garment for about 18 to 20 hours a day! Things are getting better and better! Hopefully I'll be able to feel good in a bikini when my mom comes to visit dor my birthday at the end of March! Keep you posted!!! Updated on 16 Mar 2015: Haven't really been able to see much difference... But I'm still hopeful. I also see and feel this ridge above the bellybutton Yall have been talking about... Also some skin issues are still going on. We shall see how this turns out Updated on 25 Jun 2015: Sorry it's been so long since I've written anything... I am not as happy with my results as I thought I would be... But here's some progress photos.
Okay I want to start of by saying I am a very active 24yr old. Although the last year I've had major issues with my ankles and being a runner all my life it has definitely hindered my weight management. Over the last 1-2 years I've gains 15-20 lbs all around my stomach back waist back bra roll. Long story short my mom offered to get my confidence back to what it used to be. At 5"4 I have weighed 181 pounds! The biggest I've ever been and carried it ALL on my abdomen. I went in for the consult and I waited about 45 minutes before meeting with the only Sonobello consult at The Sacramento location. She was very pleasant but no doctor as I expected. We quickly talked about the areas and then pricing. Pretty much based on my BMI of 30 the price per area would be around 1,750$! I was blown away kinda pricey but I knew it would be more than $5,000 based on the reviews. The Consultant Naomi was pretty much a sales person she quickly talked us into booking immediately and saving almost $4000 if we did so within the next week. So we did. We signed ALOT ALOT OF PAPERS! She gave me my doctors info and sent me off with a lot of reading material which I pretty much had already done prior to meeting her. Pre-Op: My pre Op visit was on a wed just a couple of days after my initial consult appointment. I was scheduled for the following Saturday 8/29/15. I finally met my Doctor Micheal A. Giuffrida. He was pleasant at first but I quickly got the sense that he was in a rush. All the questions i had for him disappeared due to him pretty much standing a foot or two away from my face and basically waiting for me to finish talking. It was pretty awkward. He wasn't very genuine or made me feel comfortable at all. At first I thought to myself "man I know he's haut doing his job and he's doing me a favor but seriously a little bit of "Hi how are you, you're going to look great after this" none of that. No excitement at all. Although he did say I needed to add an extra area my lower back , he said it would define my "butt" more . The meeting with him couldn't have been more than 10 minutes long. And off I went again to talk to the consultant about adding the 6th area. Seems like a lot but my mom thought if I'm doing this I better do it all so it looks great . I arrive to Naomi's office and she's busy talking to someone I told her I would come back with my mom since financially she was taking care of most of under her line of credit. She said " everything is okay bc she had enough credit left over to cover the 6th area which would be an additional $1,400" I then asked her if my mom or I needed to sign anything . And her being in a rush as she seemed said no everything is good to go I'll just add it to your balance. And adjust the payment plan. So I left since I have class to catch within he next 30mins. Night before Surgery: As you could imagine with all the research and knowledge I was still VERY nervous the night before. Around 5:45pm THE DAY BEFORE THE PROCEDURE . Naomi calls me telling me in a very angry and upsetting voice that my mother did not sign all the paper work for the credit company and that she needed to fax it over within the next 15 minutes bc they were closing 6pm!" As I am driving I'm receiving this call. Annoyed and frustrated that she JUST caught this mistake in her behalf not my mothers since she looked over everything twice in our presence , I just couldn't believe that the night before my surgery she is now finalizing everything. When we left our initially consult she said everything was finalize. We figured out the issue and she then asked me if we were going to put the remaining balance for my 6th area on a card or debit card the next morning. I reminded her that she had told me just 2 days ago that it would be covered by remaining balance of my mothers credit line. She then rudely said " No your moms credit line does not have enough so you need to pay out of pocket " AGAIN THIS IS ALL AT 6pm the night before surgery. My surgery was scheduled at 730AM! How the hell am I going to take out $1,400 the night before my surgery. AGAIN another last minute mistake and issue. At this point I was ready to CANCEL but their policy said something about less than 24hrs you pretty much have pay 100% even if you don't get the procedure. So I show up to my surgery appointment NOT getting my 6th area done bc no way to afford it or pull money out before 7am. DAY OF SURGERY: I arrive with my boyfriend. The nurse asks if my mom is present to sign MORE papers from the credit company that were missed . My mom was at work. Again another mistake and issue we weren't aware of. So I call my mom to leave work and sign or else they wouldn't do the surgery. The nurse was so completely rude too. Considering this is their fault and mistake they all should have been a lot nicer when fixing their mistakes. It's like I was being punished for even considering spending $8,500 on a procedure in their clinic. An hour later I'm getting pre-Meded. I'm a talker so I get that but throughout the entire process I felt like I had to pull teeth from my doctor along with the nurse. No conversation started at all. Not even what music would you like on. I have to pretty much say hi my name is jenn and I like running . I was disappointed by my experience. A lot of people were skeptical about me doing this and I wanted to prove them wrong so bad and tell them I love my doctor and refer them to this place but the experience alone is enough to take my money else where. RESULTS: My results are coming in . So far love them. CANT complain on that. My mom and aunt want to et work done along with a coworker but truthfully even though Dr. giuffridas Work was great so far I will NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE I LOVE AND KNOW. It's a scary nervous experience and it didn't need to be all that scary. I don't need someone to hold my hand but it would have been nice if my doctor along with the entire staff was pleasant and friendly. Updated on 29 Sep 2015: Hi I'm exactly one month post op my laser assisted lipo procedure (Trisculpt) and I've been noticing some indentation on my upper abdomen. When I'm sitting down I can definitely feel a little roll zoning out and when I stand up I can see the indentation. I've switched to a much tighter garmet without zippers and is flattening . But can't see the indentation going away much. I know technically I've still got 4-6 months left on swelling to go down but I'm getting a little worried as the indentation has not fluntated. The nurse pointed it out at my 1 week post op but didn't think much of it then until now. Is it possible that not enough fat was taken out of my upper abdomen ? Any creams of ointments I can use to make the indentation less noticeable ? Also for the skin tightening and recommendations on Lotions to speed up the process ? Thank you
A friend talked me into Sonobello because I was considering traveling to Miami, the thing that got me was the new satisfaction guarantee where I can return with no additional fees if I'm dissatisfied. The ladies at the front desk are sweet and some of the staff but it pretty much ends there. I really didn't care for Dr. Tavasolli during surgery because I could actually feel him poking places he wasn't suppose to be while I was sedated. it's crazy because I remember the pain vividly! I asked them to give me more meds during surgery and they refused... Upon my follow up visits I emphasized that I was unhappy several times, lumps and bumps etc and I was very unhappy and I basically wasted 7200.00. I was assured that after 6 months if I was unhappy that I could have another surgery. I didn't gain weight I actually lost 2 pounds so I was within the guidelines. Upon returning for my 6 month visit Dr Tavasolli entered the room, asked me how I felt. I let him know that I was unhappy and he basically told me that he could only remove 5% of the remaining fat and it wasn't worth it to go through another surgery. I asked him to compare my pics. He was confused which was my before and after which pretty much tells it all. I still have huge back rolls and my stomach is still huge .. I was LIVID and I honestly just wanted him to just leave the room. He mentioned the office manger would be contacting me.. so I'm waiting for that call. I don't think I really care for his snooty attitude either, he made me feel uncomfortable instead of feeling relaxed like a Dr. should. Does Sono Bello turn down clients depending on size or weight or do they just want your money? Updated on 11 May 2021: Please do not waste our time or money Ladies
