I'm six weeks post op and have these lines and lump under my chin that I'm wondering will they go away? Anyone else deal with this? Will massage break them up so they go away? I love everything but these lines n lump.

Here is a pic of the lines, will massages get them down? What do you suggest? I had a very large double chin and genitics were the cause. I do so like how much is gone just not the lines. What have you done? Thanks.

I'm about 2.5 mos post op (had lipo under chin) and my swelling is still there, but much less prominent. I had ripples and lumpiness as well and.it was alarming, but I just kept up with self administered lymphatic drainage massage every night and it helped roove the fluid out quite a bit. The swelling was worse at night and o was very itchy. Started using Sarna lotion (Walgreens) to help with the itch as well as a lubricant for massage. I think massage helps the more you do it. Truthfully, you just need time. I hear most swelling of the neck area will be resolved on 3 months, but optimal results are probably at 6 months.

Great to know, I have a massager that I'm using. Thank you for letting me know. I don't have the itchiness. Are you wearing your chin support 24/7

I have been getting Lymphatic massages and doing massages on myself that the massage therapist showed me how to do. I was told there is no quick fix

Skin tightening

Going in for some skin tightening and will update after the next 4 sessions. If this doesn't work I will have to address this more strongly for a solution and fix. Hoping this works. Fingers crossed.
