If you are looking for an amazing smart experienced, and incredibly talented plastic surgeon then book a consultation with Dr Amalfi. Her experience, training and credentials are not even close to other plastic surgeons in upstate/western NY and even possibly in all of this area of the US. I researched for almost a year before making my initial appointment, and even met with a world renowned Plastic Surgeon in New York City before meeting Dr Amalfi. After meeting with Dr Amalfi I knew right away she was the perfect match for my surgical needs. She was thorough and answered all my questions, and knew exactly the "look" I was trying to achieve with my breasts after being diagnosed with cancer and losing a major amount of weight which also caused sagging and almost no fullness in my breasts. She is a BC Plastic Surgeon and not a Cosmetic Surgeon which is a huge difference and something I learned while researching who would be the best surgeon for my needs. Dr Amalfi was amazingly friendly & thoughtful, and I appreciated her confidence in her surgical experience and how she quickly picked up on my nervousness and put me at ease. I also love that she is a woman & mother, and can relate and understand the challenges and changes that occur to women after childbirth and cancer. Her office, staff, nurses, and anesthesia team and anyone else I had interactions with were also amazing through in office visits & phone calls, and always made me feel comfortable and helped calm my nerves. I am only 1 week post op and already so in love with my new breasts even though they are still a little swollen & taped, but I can already see that the shape, lift, and size are perfect for my petite frame and exactly the cup size I was looking to achieve. My post op has gone amazingly well and I was up and about with minimal pain just 24 hours after and at the 1st post op surgical visit to her office. I am looking forward to wearing bathing suits this summer without the worry of stuffing them with silicone inserts or silicone lift bras that shift and are uncomfortable and can easily fall out. I would 110% recommend Dr Amalfi to family and friends, and I am so glad that I am lucky to have such a highly experienced Plastic Surgeon like Dr Amalfi 15 minutes from my home. I had been saving up for a little over a year to finance my surgery, but didn't have to pay the full cost up front because they shared with me a company that I could make monthly payments across 18 months interest free, which was an amazing option for a working mom of 3 kids, including one attending college.
