The doctors at Profiles Beverly Hills performed a revision rhinoplasty for me, and I'm highly pleased with the results. Whether you're considering a rhinoplasty for the first time or need to have a revision, do yourself a favor and go to them. When they were doing the revision, they encountered many issues from the first rhinoplasty (which I had done by another surgeon). They corrected the problems and set me up for success with strong structural support. At eight weeks post-op now, my nose is healing beautifully. It's exactly the nose I have always wanted, and I attribute that to their emphasis on listening to their patients' requests and preferences during thorough consultations. Both Drs Litner and Solieman as well as their excellent staff members -- Triana and Silvia (office management), Erin (nurse), Diana (surgical tech), and Dr. Goldstein (anesthesia) -- are all kind and caring professionals. I will continue to see them (Nurse Erin, specifically) for laser treatments for scars from other procedures and for my Botox and fillers. Profiles Beverly Hills provides top tier cosmetic results and care! Thank you!
These two doctors are wonderful and I am so glad I found them!! I initially had a broken nose that I wanted fixed as well as some cosmetic issues. The first doctor botched my surgery and made it extremely difficult to breathe and upturned my nose way too much. I then tried a revision with another local doctor in Sacramento, he improved it but also did not fix me and I continued to have issues breathing. Also had an implant he had placed on my nose that started pushing out to the side. I also suffered from a perpetual runny nose. The clogging that affected my breathing issues was affecting my quality of life and led to panic attacks and anxiety. I was also referred to an ENT who performed two medically approved procedures, which provided little improvement. It was not until I found these two amazing doctors that I was able to improve my quality of life. They not only significantly improved my breathing, but also improved the aesthetics. My nose looks much more like it originally looked and I don't have the implant hanging off to the side like it was before. It has been over a year now and I'm very happy with the results. Don't play around with this surgery or revisions with other doctors that don't know what they are doing and just want to take your money. Go see these two guys, and you will not regret it! Everything for me was top notch, including receptionist and Bahar, the office manager. Moreover, both doctors are a pleasure and so down to earth and easy going. I have enjoyed every trip back to see them when I went back for followups.
I am 35 years old and my nose has bothered me my entire life. I finally was at a financial point where I was able to afford rhinoplasty. I had just moved to LA, land of plastic surgery so I started researching. I can't exactly recall how I found profiles but I scheduled a consultation and went in sweaty palmed. My consultation was with both Drs. Litner and Solieman. They both had phenomenal bedside manner and were incredibly patient with my barrage of questions. They put me at ease so quickly and talked through every single aspect and potential outcome of rhino. It was an easy choice for me, I went and worked with B (the most lovable and fun office manager you will ever meet) on payments, etc. Day of surgery: it was actually great - which is a strange thing to say about major surgery. They came and greeted me with a warm blanket while I waited, then off to the surgical suite. The nurses were so kind and the anesthesiologist was gentle and friendly. Before I knew it we were all done. My recovery was normal per everything I read online, not painful AT ALL the first few days, very clogged up, not able to sleep well. The only issue I had post one week that wasn't the majority was I still can't breathe through my nose or smell very well but using Flonaise to counter that for now. When, a few weeks post op, I still couldn't breathe and started to panic I went in and Dr. Litner was SO patient with my worries and wasn't condescending (some surgeons are) at all. My nose: looks GREAT! The profile heals first (as I now know) so my profile is cute and much smaller. The tip is still swollen and I am sure you have read, it takes ~a year to fully have your new nose shape. I LOVED these surgeons, I will always recommend everyone to them as I am so happy I finally did this and will never regret my choice. I had such a great experience that I am now going to see them for some botox light soon :). Again, if you are even considering rhinoplasty, take the time to go consult with this practice, you will be very happy you did!
Dr. Jason and Dr. Solieman are such kind hearted men and they really care about their patients. When I was researching for a surgeon, I knew they both were the perfect doctors to fix my nose. I examined their past patients very very closely. I saw not only did they change the nose of their patients, but they made their patients look more attractive. When I went for my consultation they wanted to make sure that I was positive about going through with the surgery. They are not only about taking your coins haha. Every question that I had they answered without any hesitation. Their staff is wonderful as well. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: Today is the day of my surgery and I am nervous but more excited. Once I arrived for surgery I was immediately taken to the back with an anesteologist. She asked me simple questions like do i have on jewlery and other family members that went under the knife before. Then she took me to the back to change in to my scrubs and provide a urine sample. After that I talked to both Solieman and Litner. They asked me about using a very small piece of my ear just in case I dont have enough cartilage in my nose. It kinda freaked me out but I was so down for them doing whatever they needed to do to give me the perfect nose. Then the anesthesiologist took me to the back SURGERY TIME!!! She was very sweet to me and so was the nurses. Truly a caring staff. I knew for a fact that I was in great hands. Before I knew it I was out. When I woke up I felt a little tingly sentation in the tip of my nose and I had an ice pack over my face. It kind of freaked me out because I could hear voices but I could not see anything. This was my very first time waking up from anesthesia. The anesthesiologist removed the ice pack and had a heater on me to keep me warm. Before I knew it I was back home. I had took some pain killers with some yogurt and immediately the tingly sensation stopped. I am able to walk but just a tad bit wobbly. Next I did some red light therapy and I was fast asleep. Once I woke up the surgeons called to make sure that I was okay. Again like I said before a very caring staff. Then I took some pain killers and ducief at 6:30pm. In 4 more hours I will take the pain killers again and my sleeping pill. One thing that I am having trouble with is not bending over. In the folder they gave me you are instructed not to bend over. I am trying to avoid it as much as possible. Once I went to sleep I had an ice packet over my face. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: Today I woke up had yogurt. A lil more bruising then yesterday. Then I took my steroids, antibiotics, and pain meds in a bottle of water. Yuck! I would not do that again. EVER! I highly recommend everyone to get the Dale Nasal Dressing, if its not in your care package that Profiles provide. It is so convenient and holds the non adhasive gauze in place. It is way better then taping gauze to your face. I ordered my nasal dressing off amazon and i brought my gauze from Walgreens. Next I went to my first post op appointment with Dr. Solieman. He cleaned up my nose with perioxide and qtip. Then he removed the packaging from my nose. Next he sprayed the solution up my nose and instructed me to sniff. After that he put the ointment on my stiches around the inside of my nose. He was pretty suprised that he didn't see that much bruising on my face compared to other patients. It could be because i sleep so elevated or the red light therapy. I have the wedge that is 24 inches in height instead of 18 inches. Again brought it from amazon. He answered all the questions that i asked. Also he was shocked by how much energy I had. So he instructed me to take things a lil slow. Even though I feel perfectly fine that my body is still in the process of healing. Once i got home i was sound asleep. Then i took my antibiotics, pain meds, and steroids in some more yogurt. 4 hours later I had ice cream with my pain meds and sleeping meds. I should be icing my face a lot more but I think me sleeping so elevated helps a lot. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: Today I took my meds. I called my hair dresser because i need to get my hair done for an upcoming event. I wake up and shower. Then i run outside in the heat and grab the the mail. Once i come back inside i feel very lightheaded, dizzy, and nausea. I told my manager i feel like I am about to vomit. I try to run to the bathroom qnd yhen i faint. I was on the ground for q good 20-30 seconds. So happy i hit the back of my head. I bounced back up. My manager made me a sandwich and water. Before I knew it i was on mu way to the hair salon. By the way i love going out in public with my bandage. I returned home ordered some nasal spray from cvs and some more yogurt. As the night went on i ate hotdogs and I dreaded taking my last set of pills. I knew exactly why because it all came back up. I will definitely take the doc orders and take things easy and move slowly. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: Today I ran some errands with my manager. We stopped at Olive Garden to celebrate my Birthday. It was pretty hard to eat comfortably with the nasal dressing on. The last that i wanted to was remove it and disgust the people around me with blood nose. I asked the waiter to pack it up so i can enjoy my meal at home. Then i took my meds. Still had a little trouble with it settling on my stomach. I took a nap and when i woke up i hit my head on a chair in my room. I will advise to have a caregiver that is really alert and close to you. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: The drainage has stopped completely. I don't have to wear the gauze and the nasal dressing. I had my stitches removed as well as my cast. Make sure that you wash your face with warm water so its easier for them to remove it. The only thing really annoying at the moment is my mouth constantly being dry. It is wise to keep some liquids close by. Even though you only have to stay elevated for 2 weeks I prefer to stay elevated for a month.
I love these doctors! I had my revision on March 22, and although I can't tell exactly how it looks yet, I feel awesome and this whole office has been so kind to me, hardly any pain. Just simply wonderful experience. I'm getting more done next week because I trust them so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Beverly Hills Profiles. Worth every cent.
I always had a very large nose, but I never really noticed it until I was around eleven - at which point it was all I could see when I looked in the mirror. After about two years of this obsessing, I decided to ask my mom for a nose job - and she agreed, on the condition that she would choose the doctors. After a lot of research, she decided on Drs. Litner and Solieman of Beverly Hills Profiles, and I'm glad she did - even though we had to travel out of state to get the procedure done (we live in Texas) I do not think there are any other doctors who could have done my rhinoplasty as well as them. Doing a rhinoplasty on a thirteen year old is more nuanced than regular rhinoplasties, because you have to predict, in a sense, how their face will change as they age and make sure to give them a nose that will continue to fit their face. But the doctors at Beverly Hills Profiles really understand the aesthetics of the human face - how each feature works with others and how small details can dramatically change the overall look - and they did a perfect job. They even decided to give me a silicone chin implant as well as the rhinoplasty because I had an underdeveloped chin, something that made my nose look even bigger in comparison and something I had never even noticed before. They have a very holistic approach to plastic surgery, they really know how to make small tweaks and changes to give you a much improved appearance, though others won't be able to pinpoint exactly what has changed. After surgery, I went back home to Texas and was very happy with my new nose for a little while - before I noticed that my nose was starting to look beak-like, with a drooping, bulbous tip area, which confused me a lot. It seemed that while my nose should have been getting smaller from swelling going down, it was getting bigger - something which I tried to tell my mom, who dismissed it for a long time as all in my head, trying to tell me I had "Body Dysmorphic Disorder" and that I needed to go to a therapist about it. But after about three years of being unhappy with my nose again (it was still certainly a huge improvement from my original nose, but I didn't feel like I really had what I wanted) I decided to have a Skype call with the Beverly Hills Profiles doctors, just to ask about my nose, with my mom believing that if they told me I had a perfect nose that I would finally believe it. But when I showed my nose to the doctors, they said something was wrong, that my nose had a rare reaction to the surgery and had grown an enormous mound of scar tissue under the skin, giving me my "beak". They said I should come back to California so they could remove it - for free! I was ecstatic that it wasn't all in my head and I wasn't just crazy. So March 2015 I came back to California and had my second nose job, removing the scar lump (which the doctors said was the biggest they had ever seen!) and at a post-op appointment they gave me a steroid shot in my nose to make sure the scar tissue wouldn't come back. They would normally have done it after my first rhinoplasty so it would never have developed in the first place, but I went home before it started to develop and didn't stay in touch on skype as well I was supposed to have (totally my fault) so they couldn't catch it in time and send me to a local doctor who could have given me a steroid shot. So now, ten months after my second rhinoplasty, almost five years after my first, at 18 years old, my swelling is almost entirely gone and I finally have the nose I always wanted! I love it so much - they did such an amazing job, the sheer amount of reduction they did is unbelievable! They really changed my life. I can look in the mirror and I see things like my hair, my eyes - not my nose anymore! I used to have to constantly make decisions based on my nose - getting hair styles that are said to minimize your nose, never smiling in pictures because it made my nose look bigger (I used to cover my mouth and nose with my hand when I laughed!) - and now I can just do what I want to do without having my nose constantly weighing on my mind. For the first time, I feel pretty, I take selfies like other girls my age now, I actually bother dressing nicely now - This will be the first time I will actually be in my highschool yearbook because I didn't skip picture day! I owe so much to these doctors! Sorry that this review is so long - but going to these doctors is probably the one of the best things that has happened in my life! Thank you two so much!! They are the best in the business!
From the very beginning Dr. Litner was there for me at every step of the rhinoplasty process. He took the time in the very beginning to answer each and all of my questions, take pictures and accurately show me what about my nose could be changed, and make me feel safe and in good hands. Not only was I in good hands, I was in the best. Surgery went smoothly as did the recovery process. I would read about all the troubles post op that patients of other surgeons would have, but due to the state of the art techniques Dr. Litner used, I had no issues. He was there to answer any questions I had even months down the line. As I came up on a year post op I noticed (due to my thick skin) I had some internal scarring that occurred during the healing process. Dr. Litner true to his word, seeing I was unhappy with this, took me in and performed a revision at NO COST to me. What other surgeons in the world would do this. Not many if any at all. I am now extremely pleased with my nose in every way. From day one, Dr. Litner and Profiles staff were there for me at every step of the way. If you are looking for an amazing doctor and an amazing nose, do not go anywhere but Profiles.
I'm not a big review person - but seeing as though I read numerous reviews before having my surgery, I feel obligated to share my experience, as well as compliment this amazing practice. Unbiased from any other reviews I'm going solely off my experience with Profiles Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, most of my life I faced a constant battle with a deviated septum and multiple nose fractures. Consumed by school and a hectic work life after, I could never find the time to fix the clogged airway on one side of my nose and the unfortunate ugly kinks in my nose from all my fractures (you'd be surprised how many different ways I found to break my nose). With a significant employment change I had a short window and finally made it a priority to fix this thing once and for all. Coming from a metrics driven business world, I am used to achieving results and protecting my investments by doing upfront research. I read countless reviews for numerous surgeons in the LA area and even consulted with my ENTs from over the years (I was also gathering my medical history for insurance). All my due diligence landed me at Profiles Beverly Hills. On my initial consultation I met both Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman as well as their administrative staff who was overly accommodating and friendly - big two thumbs up. During the consultation I overly stressed my desire for natural looking, meaning id rather keep some of the kinks than end up looking like Joan Rivers. Both doctors were very attentive and greatly stressed the ability to fix my deviation for breathing purposes (most important) and to focus on light, natural looking adjustments for aesthetic purposes. The doctors also made digitally enhanced photos that allowed me to view potential results, which ended up being very comforting when deciding to pull the trigger. The surgery was a breeze and just like the rest of the staff, the nurse director was great. After the surgery she was able to answer all my drug-induced, incoherent questions and was also available when I followed up with a call the next day. My recovery period was a little longer than most being that I had so much scar tissue from the years of wear and tear, but even then all of the instructions from the practice made this process simple and I was back to work about 7-10 days later. Just a note - dont stress after the first few weeks if you think you still look like bozo, the total healing process takes time, you just need to relax. I had various follow-up appointments over the next year and received the same care and attention from all the above personnel during my visits. There were times when the practice was a little crowded and I might have felt like a stop-in felt rushed, but ultimately I am well aware that everyone is busy (including myself) and if I had specific questions that needed answering, I know extra time would have been spent to answer my questions. For someone looking for a little extra comfort and care during these post ops when the office is busy, I generally took tremendous comfort in knowing that I went to the most skilled hand in LA and there is a reason that they are so busy. My results a year later are tremendous. I couldn't be any happier with the results as I am finally able to breathe normally for the first time in my life and look ruggedly handsome at the same time (just a joke). My results feel completely natural, and they honestly look even better than the digitally enhanced photos from my original consultation. I want to personally thank both Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman and the entire staff at Beverly Hills Profiles, you guys are fantastic.
I had a finesse rhinoplasty with Dr. S&L at Profiles Beverly Hills. By "finesse" I mean I wanted specific changes to be made to my nose that wouldn't affect my overall "look". I'm a young model, and I didn't want to look "plastic" at all. I normally bruise like a pear, however I had almost zero bruising which is fantastic, as I am not telling my friends/family about the procedure. I feel like these doctors were gentle and delicate with my nose in surgery. The first couple days after surgery I had no pain in my nose, just a headache which Dr. said was due to congestion. They performed an open rhinoplasty, my nose is really only sensitive at the incision right now, and the scar is healing beautifully. Their staff is fantastic. Baharak, the office manager, was very helpful with any questions I had before surgery and offered great tips/advice for me for after surgery. Their nurse, Daisy, was comforting and gentle with me before and after surgery as well. Again, I normally bruise very easily and there was no bruise at all from the IV after surgery. Their anesthesiologist was also comforting and very polite as he asked me some questions about my medical/family history before putting me under. When I woke from surgery I didn't feel any pain, they had put vaseline on my lips/eyelids while I was in surgery so I did not wake up with dry lips or dry eyes. Daisy was at my side feeding me water through a straw so I could get hydrated before leaving. As I started to wake up more, both Drs. came over and told me that surgery went great and Baharak came over to check on me as well. When I left Profiles I was fully awake, not groggy at all. I did have a headache so they gave me some pretzels to eat before I took a Vicodin. By the time I got home my headache was gone and I felt fine. The rest of my recovery week I just laid around the house and relaxed. A week after surgery I went in to get my cast & stitches off, I was worried because I had read that this sometimes hurts. Again, no pain at all! Dr. Solieman was very delicate with my nose as he removed them. When I saw my nose for the first time without a cast I felt overwhelmingly ecstatic. With my cast off and only 6 days after surgery, you literally could NOT tell I had any work done- no bruises, hardly any swelling. I have tremendous respect for Dr. Solieman, he's easy to talk to, he listens, he's always smiling, he's gentle, precise and (in my opinion) the perfect surgeon. But MOST IMPORTANTLY- they gave me the nose that I wanted and that we all agreed on before surgery. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Solieman (and Dr. Litner at Profiles). I would recommend them to anyone in search of an "un-operated" looking nose. THANK YOU SOLIE & EVERYONE @ PROFILES, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
I waited over two years before writing this review, hoping for some positive results, but my nose has looked the same since five months post op. I paid $16,000 USD only for my nose to remain bulbous and for a thinned bridge causing my nose to be pinched in the middle leaving a permanent upside V shadow. My nostrils are uneven, my nose still hooks to the right causing profile asymmetry, and I ended up with a pollybeak deformity. Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman left me feeling uncared for, unattractive, and even more insecure about my nose since I left their care. I want to start by saying I've never had surgery before, much less cosmetic, and completely trusting my doctors turned out to be my biggest mistake.I initially chose Profiles because their online presence showed photos of natural results which I was looking for. While there were a few negative reviews, that was to be expected. What really convinced me was Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman marketing their expertise with ethnic noses. Setting up the appointment was easy. You download their app and pay $250 for a consultation, either virtual or in-person. Since I'm from the East Coast, mine was virtual. Although my virtual consultation was quick, their confidence in delivering a nose that better suited my features sold me and that they follow up your recovery for the one year. If you decide to move forward with the surgery, you’re required to place a $3,500 deposit, which goes towards the total cost. Fast forward to Feb 22, 2023, I flew into LA for my first in-person appointment. My before photos were taken then I met Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman. Dr. Solieman worked on the computer-generated results while I shared my goals with Dr. Litner. I vocalized my biggest concerns was my bulbous tip and how it widened when I smiled, my nose slightly hooking down and to the right when I spoke or smiled, and the uneven thickness of my nostrils. I said I wanted a natural look, similar to my current nose, but smaller scale to compliment my features. Both doctors assured me this was achievable and explained the CGI photos. Dr. Litner explained they would reduce my bulbous tip, take in my nostrils slightly, and slightly rotate my tip upwards. GCI photos and before photos side by side are attached. They ended the consultation by advising me to ask them any questions directly instead of googling and getting nervous. Afterwards, I met with Polina, who helped me find a lender for payment plan. I paid $728 for 18 mo. She gave me paperwork, including the surgical consent form, post-op instructions, and a list of medications I would need: antibiotics, Norco, Valium, and Medrol. One thing I didn't like was that Profiles sent my prescription to their partnered pharmacy, Herbert's, despite their paperwork saying I could choose my own. The prices were inflated, and I paid over $100 for three items. When I asked if they accepted insurance, the older gentleman said “it would take too long to figure out”, and since I had an Uber waiting, I just paid the inflated price. They also forgot to fulfill one of my prescription. My surgery was the next day, Feb 23rd, at 9am at their surgical location. I had unexpectedly gotten my period that morning and texted nurse Marisol letting her know. I was disappointed to find out they only provided pads, not tampons. Given that it’s Beverly Hills and majority are female clients, I expected them to have options. Thankfully, I managed to stop by a CVS without much traffic delay.Surgery was roughly two hours. Once at my Airbnb, I experienced a lot of bleeding, which I was told to expect. Dr. Solieman personally called that evening to check on me, which I appreciated, but after that, the attention and reassurance from my doctors declined to the point of being nonexistent. On Day 6, March 1st, my cast was scheduled to be removed, but my doctors weren't there. I was told they were busy so instead, their botox/lip injector, Soudeh, removed my cast and sutures. When Soudeh handed me the mirror, I was horrified, I’ve never seen any videos of cast removals with such extreme swelling. Unfortunately my doctors weren’t around to reassure me. I had to ask Soudeh about her own experience with rhinoplasty and recovery. She taped my nose and gave me a wooden popsicle stick with medical tape wrapped on it instead of a full roll which is $3. Again, this is Beverly Hills skimping out of $3 for tape I would need for months. On my way to leave, waiting for the elevator, I saw Dr. Solieman and wanted to show him my results, but my nose was covered in tape and I was wearing a mask. I mentioned my concern on how swollen I was, and he brushed it off, saying it was normal and not to take photos because I'd "look like a clown." I don’t believe his words were meant maliciously, but if he had been present when my cast was removed, he would have known that comment wasn't what I needed. I was beginning to regret the surgery and the money I invested, feeling like they didn't care about me or my results—a feeling that would later be proven right by their actions. Profiles schedules follow up consults at one, three, six, and twelve months post-op. All my virtual appointments were scheduled in advance, but each time, a day or so before my appointments, I was forced to reschedule. I always had to accommodate to the doctors’ schedule in risk of not being seen/ have my concerns addressed. The virtual calls with the doctors felt rushed, and my questions were often met with unhelpful tangents. By early May, nearly three months post-op, I was still insecure and embarrassed with my results—my nose looked just as large, awkward break/ V shadow on my bridge, and my nostrils were unevenly stitched. Over virtual call, Dr. Solieman suggested waiting another month in hopes for some natural improvements otherwise next step would be steroid injections back in LA. I reminded him I am in the East Coast and did not want travel across the county for a shot is not guaranteed to improve my results. Dr. Solieman eventually offered to find a colleague in New York to do the procedure. He said he would get back to me, but naturally no one follow up with for months. I had two follow-up appointments in June and July, where both doctors just advised me to measure my progress monthly, not daily. During one call with Dr. Litner, I expressed my concerns again about my remaining bulbous tip and uneven nostrils. He asked about the humid weather, suggesting that is what is affecting my nose's swelling. This felt like another brush off considering my past dismissive video calls, confirming their lack of care. I mentioned the steroid injection to Dr. Litner that Dr. Solieman recommended hoping to get more insight I wasn’t detailed information. I had to research online to learn what a steroid shot was because my doctors didn't inform me. I learned steroid injections have a lot of negatives side effects like depression in the skin, hypopigmentation, abnormal blood vessel formation, and thinning of the skin. I felt sad due to the continued lack of support and reassurance from my doctors. I knew they were capable of a higher level of care and attention because of what I had seen on their social media, but I now understand the attention goes to their high profile patients aka paid influencers. Around the same week I had my surgery, there was a Colombian influencer who was there for a revision. Profile’s Instagram reposted all her stories and eventually created her own story highlight on their page. Both Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman were present for her cast removal and yet they were too busy for mine. I waited hopefully for natural positive results, but by month six, I was still taping my nose to feel less ugly. Dr. Solieman never followed up about the NYC colleague for the steroid injection, so I texted Profiles on September 1st for an update, but naturally no one replied. I called the office on September 5th asking for a follow up and they just provided me Dr. Litner’s email so I followed up directly. He replied same day, recommending his colleague, Dr. Edward Kwak. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kwak for September 8th, covered by Profiles. After taking photos, Dr. Kwak asked about my nose. I had limited information, mentioning the bulbous tip reduction and nostril adjustments. I brought up Dr. Solieman’s steroid recommendation and my own research on the side effects. He advised against the steroid injection saying the cons out weighed the pros and that he usually injects steroids before the three-month mark which I was far past. However he reassured me my nose was healing well at six months post-op, though results take one to two years for ethnic noses. Dr. Kwak also mentioned that uneven nostrils are a common consequence of cosmetic surgery confirming my nostrils were in fact stitched unevenly. I left NYC feeling discouraged. At a year and three months post rhinoplasty, I again raised my concerns with Dr. Litner, who took two months to reply, about the lack of positive change. He pushed steroid injections, despite Dr. Kwak advising against them due to side effects. When I asked for a third opinion on the steroid and cost coverage, I was deny and instead encouraged to take Accutane, a strong acne medication with serious side effects like depression, joist pain, and hair thinning. Their harmful encouragement for accutane spotlighted their lack of care for their patient’s wellbeing, beyond disheartening. It was after that email that I felt the urgency to write this review. Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman are expensive and dismissive with poor craftsmanship. I asked for compensation, mainly a partial refund, but they offered a free revision rhinoplasty, which I declined. My current results and their lack of concern over two years led me to research deeper on other patients' experiences online, hoping to find some comfort. Unfortunately, I found discussion boards where patients shared similar negative experiences with Profiles. I took everything with a grain of salt until I was blocked by their Instagram page for engaging with their patient's comment sharing her revision experience. I had noticed they deleted comments before and now understand why. I wasn’t expecting perfection, I know we’re human, but Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman made me feel like I didn’t matter to them, dismissing me and prioritizing other patients over me. Whenever I spoke with them, they brushed me off and seemed indifferent, almost annoyed, when I asked for reassurance. Given their lack of care for me by dismissing me for months, encouraging harmful alternatives, blocking me on social media plus the questionable practices I've observed, and the negative revision outcomes from other patients, they've shown they don't care about me and have broken any trust I had. I no longer feel safe under their care and reasonably declined their free revision. When I asked again for a partial refund, they replied that refunds are not included in their terms. I hope this helps others make informed decisions. My experience with Profiles was expensive, disheartening, and deeply disappointing bullet points of negative experience - Results: tip remains bulbous but now with a weird break/ upside V shadow in the middle of my bridge causing my nose to look even larger, uneven nostrils, and an uneven profile with pollybeak deformity. - Polina failed to mention I’d need someone to discharge me, leaving me stressed to find help last minute. They did offer a discounted night at their aftercare facility. - Overcharged me by $250 and had to follow up multiple times to get my money refunded - Inconsiderate of my time with continuous last minute cancellations of virtual calls despite being scheduled months in advance. - Lack of accommodation for female patients on their period. They didn’t offer tampons only pads, despite majority of patients being women - MIA when promised to follow up - Encouraged me to go on Accutane for a scar tissue despite my concerns of the extremely negative side effects - Referred me to a colleague that offered me conflicting professional information and when asked for a third opinion, they declined. Important things they failed to communicate with me: 1. benefits of lymphatic drainage and massage 2. negative side effects of antibiotics (women, it messes up your healthy bacteria which can lead to yeast infections. itchy and painful rashes may appear on your on face/skin) 3. negative sides from the off brand of neosporin (dermatologists recommended against it. neomycin frequently causes allergic reactions of the skin called contact dermatitis) 4. scar treatments/relieving itching scars (aside from the gel I asked about) 5. how to tape properly (where to place tape, amount of pressure, how to remove without damaging skin etc)
