The drainage has stopped completely. I don't have to wear the gauze and the nasal dressing. I had my stitches removed as well as my cast. Make sure that you wash your face with warm water so its easier for them to remove it. The only thing really annoying at the moment is my mouth constantly being dry. It is wise to keep some liquids close by. Even though you only have to stay elevated for 2 weeks I prefer to stay elevated for a month.

Post Op Day 3

Today I ran some errands with my manager. We stopped at Olive Garden to celebrate my Birthday. It was pretty hard to eat comfortably with the nasal dressing on. The last that i wanted to was remove it and disgust the people around me with blood nose. I asked the waiter to pack it up so i can enjoy my meal at home. Then i took my meds. Still had a little trouble with it settling on my stomach. I took a nap and when i woke up i hit my head on a chair in my room. I will advise to have a caregiver that is really alert and close to you.

Today I took my meds. I called my hair dresser because i need to get my hair done for an upcoming event. I wake up and shower. Then i run outside in the heat and grab the the mail. Once i come back inside i feel very lightheaded, dizzy, and nausea. I told my manager i feel like I am about to vomit. I try to run to the bathroom qnd yhen i faint. I was on the ground for q good 20-30 seconds. So happy i hit the back of my head. I bounced back up. My manager made me a sandwich and water. Before I knew it i was on mu way to the hair salon. By the way i love going out in public with my bandage. I returned home ordered some nasal spray from cvs and some more yogurt. As the night went on i ate hotdogs and I dreaded taking my last set of pills. I knew exactly why because it all came back up. I will definitely take the doc orders and take things easy and move slowly.
