Dr. Jason and Dr. Solieman are such kind hearted men and they really care about their patients. When I was researching for a surgeon, I knew they both were the perfect doctors to fix my nose. I examined their past patients very very closely. I saw not only did they change the nose of their patients, but they made their patients look more attractive. When I went for my consultation they wanted to make sure that I was positive about going through with the surgery. They are not only about taking your coins haha. Every question that I had they answered without any hesitation. Their staff is wonderful as well.

Day of Surgery

Today is the day of my surgery and I am nervous but more excited. Once I arrived for surgery I was immediately taken to the back with an anesteologist. She asked me simple questions like do i have on jewlery and other family members that went under the knife before. Then she took me to the back to change in to my scrubs and provide a urine sample. After that I talked to both Solieman and Litner. They asked me about using a very small piece of my ear just in case I dont have enough cartilage in my nose. It kinda freaked me out but I was so down for them doing whatever they needed to do to give me the perfect nose. Then the anesthesiologist took me to the back SURGERY TIME!!! She was very sweet to me and so was the nurses. Truly a caring staff. I knew for a fact that I was in great hands. Before I knew it I was out. When I woke up I felt a little tingly sentation in the tip of my nose and I had an ice pack over my face. It kind of freaked me out because I could hear voices but I could not see anything. This was my very first time waking up from anesthesia. The anesthesiologist removed the ice pack and had a heater on me to keep me warm. Before I knew it I was back home. I had took some pain killers with some yogurt and immediately the tingly sensation stopped. I am able to walk but just a tad bit wobbly. Next I did some red light therapy and I was fast asleep. Once I woke up the surgeons called to make sure that I was okay. Again like I said before a very caring staff. Then I took some pain killers and ducief at 6:30pm. In 4 more hours I will take the pain killers again and my sleeping pill. One thing that I am having trouble with is not bending over. In the folder they gave me you are instructed not to bend over. I am trying to avoid it as much as possible. Once I went to sleep I had an ice packet over my face.

Post Op Day 1

Today I woke up had yogurt. A lil more bruising then yesterday. Then I took my steroids, antibiotics, and pain meds in a bottle of water. Yuck! I would not do that again. EVER! I highly recommend everyone to get the Dale Nasal Dressing, if its not in your care package that Profiles provide. It is so convenient and holds the non adhasive gauze in place. It is way better then taping gauze to your face. I ordered my nasal dressing off amazon and i brought my gauze from Walgreens. Next I went to my first post op appointment with Dr. Solieman. He cleaned up my nose with perioxide and qtip. Then he removed the packaging from my nose. Next he sprayed the solution up my nose and instructed me to sniff. After that he put the ointment on my stiches around the inside of my nose. He was pretty suprised that he didn't see that much bruising on my face compared to other patients. It could be because i sleep so elevated or the red light therapy. I have the wedge that is 24 inches in height instead of 18 inches. Again brought it from amazon. He answered all the questions that i asked. Also he was shocked by how much energy I had. So he instructed me to take things a lil slow. Even though I feel perfectly fine that my body is still in the process of healing. Once i got home i was sound asleep. Then i took my antibiotics, pain meds, and steroids in some more yogurt. 4 hours later I had ice cream with my pain meds and sleeping meds. I should be icing my face a lot more but I think me sleeping so elevated helps a lot.
