I always had a very large nose, but I never really...

I always had a very large nose, but I never really noticed it until I was around eleven - at which point it was all I could see when I looked in the mirror. After about two years of this obsessing, I decided to ask my mom for a nose job - and she agreed, on the condition that she would choose the doctors. After a lot of research, she decided on Drs. Litner and Solieman of Beverly Hills Profiles, and I'm glad she did - even though we had to travel out of state to get the procedure done (we live in Texas) I do not think there are any other doctors who could have done my rhinoplasty as well as them. Doing a rhinoplasty on a thirteen year old is more nuanced than regular rhinoplasties, because you have to predict, in a sense, how their face will change as they age and make sure to give them a nose that will continue to fit their face. But the doctors at Beverly Hills Profiles really understand the aesthetics of the human face - how each feature works with others and how small details can dramatically change the overall look - and they did a perfect job. They even decided to give me a silicone chin implant as well as the rhinoplasty because I had an underdeveloped chin, something that made my nose look even bigger in comparison and something I had never even noticed before. They have a very holistic approach to plastic surgery, they really know how to make small tweaks and changes to give you a much improved appearance, though others won't be able to pinpoint exactly what has changed. After surgery, I went back home to Texas and was very happy with my new nose for a little while - before I noticed that my nose was starting to look beak-like, with a drooping, bulbous tip area, which confused me a lot. It seemed that while my nose should have been getting smaller from swelling going down, it was getting bigger - something which I tried to tell my mom, who dismissed it for a long time as all in my head, trying to tell me I had "Body Dysmorphic Disorder" and that I needed to go to a therapist about it. But after about three years of being unhappy with my nose again (it was still certainly a huge improvement from my original nose, but I didn't feel like I really had what I wanted) I decided to have a Skype call with the Beverly Hills Profiles doctors, just to ask about my nose, with my mom believing that if they told me I had a perfect nose that I would finally believe it. But when I showed my nose to the doctors, they said something was wrong, that my nose had a rare reaction to the surgery and had grown an enormous mound of scar tissue under the skin, giving me my "beak". They said I should come back to California so they could remove it - for free! I was ecstatic that it wasn't all in my head and I wasn't just crazy. So March 2015 I came back to California and had my second nose job, removing the scar lump (which the doctors said was the biggest they had ever seen!) and at a post-op appointment they gave me a steroid shot in my nose to make sure the scar tissue wouldn't come back. They would normally have done it after my first rhinoplasty so it would never have developed in the first place, but I went home before it started to develop and didn't stay in touch on skype as well I was supposed to have (totally my fault) so they couldn't catch it in time and send me to a local doctor who could have given me a steroid shot. So now, ten months after my second rhinoplasty, almost five years after my first, at 18 years old, my swelling is almost entirely gone and I finally have the nose I always wanted! I love it so much - they did such an amazing job, the sheer amount of reduction they did is unbelievable! They really changed my life. I can look in the mirror and I see things like my hair, my eyes - not my nose anymore! I used to have to constantly make decisions based on my nose - getting hair styles that are said to minimize your nose, never smiling in pictures because it made my nose look bigger (I used to cover my mouth and nose with my hand when I laughed!) - and now I can just do what I want to do without having my nose constantly weighing on my mind. For the first time, I feel pretty, I take selfies like other girls my age now, I actually bother dressing nicely now - This will be the first time I will actually be in my highschool yearbook because I didn't skip picture day! I owe so much to these doctors! Sorry that this review is so long - but going to these doctors is probably the one of the best things that has happened in my life! Thank you two so much!! They are the best in the business!
