Dimpleplasty

This 30 year old male underwent right-sided dimple creation surgery in the office under local anesthesia. The procedure took approximately 30 minutes to perform. He is shown three months following the procedure and is very happy with his new dimple. Many patients opt for dimples in both cheeks (bilateral) whereas others prefer to have one placed on just one side (unilateral).

Patient with thinner cheeks get better results than patients with thicker cheeks. Initially the dimples are visible even at rest but later they fade away at rest and only appear when smiling. The last set of pictures demonstrates this.
