Damon Braces - Patient originally attended as she was unhappy with her smile, particularly the canines. We discussed all the options with the patient, offering her veneers, crowns and braces. After Discussing the risks and benefits of each procedure and the costs, we came to the conclusion that orthodontics would be the best choice. With the Damon braces system there is a choice of clear brackets or metal and it is dependent on the clients choice.This choice then reflects in the cost of the appliance. The length of time you will need to wear this appliance, is dependent on the amount of work needed and the amount of movement needed for the ideal result. After you have finished with the fixed appliance in most cases we would fit a fixed retainer to the back of the teeth to prevent movement, you may also need to wear removable appliances in the evening time we include the removable appliance cost in the full costing at the first appointment.  This result was achieved in 8 months, the Damon brace system varies between 6 months to 2 years depending on the complexity of the case.
