Removal and replacement of breast implants with capsulectomy. This patient came to see us after multiple failed attempts to fix her breasts. She had a painful and distorting Baker IV capsular contracture which had recurred with every attempt and fixing this difficult problem. I performed a unique procedure where I used an acellular dermal matrix (ACDM)/Strattice to act as an spacer to prevent recurrence of the capsule. Without the ACDM the capsule is very likely to recur. In addition I used a new Motive Silk Surface implant which has the lowest incidence of capsular contracture. Finally I placed her on Singular which also prevents capsular contracture. She not only looks better but feels much better too.

Before and after breast augmentation REVISION:  This patient had breast augmentation by another surgeon and had asymmetry.  She wanted more symmetric breasts and volume.  I did a breast augmentation REVISION:  removed her old implants.  Repaired her implant pocket using sutures placed to raise the inframmary breast crease (breast fold) which I reinforced with Galaflex mesh which is  also called an internal bra.  I replaced her implants  with a silicone gel gummy bear SOFT TOUCH 415cc full profile implant.

Breast augmentation REVISION.  This patient had a deforming Grade III capsular contracture.  I did a breast augmentation revision.  I took out her old implants which were leaking.  I also did a full capsulectomy to remove the capsule/scar tissue around the implants.   I replaced the implants with a new generation silicone gel soft touch 335cc full profile implant.  I also repaired the implant pocket to support the implant and keep it centered exactly behind the breast tissue.  Her old implants were very hard to the touch and the new implants are soft and pliable.
