This woman presented with drooping of the upper eyelids, heavy under eye bags, and fullness in her chin that just bothered her! Dr Woodman listened to her concerns and provided a conservative approach that gave fantastic results. Removing excess skin from the upper eyelids, some of the excess fat that filled out the lower lid (some of us with hollow under eyes WISH we had that fat under there!), and a bit of lipo below the chin were the only incision points, with the only scar left visible being a tiny one under the chin. The laser Blepharoplasty (Upper Eyelid surgery technique we use) scar is hidden within the natural crease, the lower incision is in the lash line- you will never see it!To finish, Dr Woodman gave her an overall CO2 resurfacing refresh, and the results speak for themselves.

A young lady with excellent skin was treated with smart Lipo of the neck to debulk the fat deposits for alower face contour.

Procedure: Submental liposuction, rhinoplasty, scar revision of upper lip, and laser treatment of facial spider veins.

This young woman presented with the concern of too much fullness under her chin.  She stated that many of her family members had the same issue even though they were all relatively fit and healthy.  She wished for a permanent and effective treatment that could be performed in one appointment.  Together we decided that submental/chin liposuction would be the most effect and permanent treatment. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia along with mild oral sedation with xanax to relax her anxiety.  The treatment took under one hour to perform and she was back at work in one week's time.

This young woman presented with the desire to improve her profile. She stated that even as a younger adult (and teenager) she always had some fullness underneath her chin with lack of definition. Examination revealed a moderately sized fat pad under her chin, as well as a mildly undersized chin. She admitted that she never had considered the lack of size of her chin, and was open to the idea of a conservative chin augmentation.Under local anesthesia with mild oral sedation, we performed submental (under chin) liposuction along with placement of a medium-sized anatomic silicone chin implant. There was a small incision placed under her chin (in the natural crease) that was approximately 1/2 inch in length. Her recovery time was less than one week.Her result demonstrates a much improved neckline (that appears less heavy in appearance), along with a modestly more prominent chin to balance her lips and nose.
