This 51 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. He has been bothered by the bags under his eyes for many years, feeling they make him look tired. During the consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out that the bags under the patient’s eyes were due to herniated fat bulging from around the eyeball into the lower eyelid. Rather than removing and discarding that fat, Dr. Parker recommended the fat be transferred to the prominent nasojugal grooves beneath the eyelids to help achieve a better blending from both lower eyelids to the cheeks. The procedure was performed exactly as described by Dr. Parker.
