	Gynecomastia or male breast reduction corrects the over-developed or enlarged breasts of men. Breast Reduction is done under general anesthesia. Incisions are made around the pigmented area (the nipple areolar complex) and extend vertically below the nipple and in the fold under the breast. The nipple areolar complex is moved upward to the desired location, while excess breast tissue, skin, and fat are removed.


Male Breast Reduction / Gynecomastia

This gentleman desired chest contouring or gynecomastia surgery to help flatten the chest. Ultrasonic liposuction was performed with J plasma skin tightening (without gland removal in this case). Here he is happy at 2 months postoperative.

This 26 year old male presented with excessively prominent breasts. Power-assisted liposuction corrected his gynecomastia.

26 Year Old Male Underwent Male Breast Reduction

This patient is a 27-year-old male who presented to my office with complaints of excess fullness in the chest bilaterally. I felt that a combination of liposuction and glandular tissue removal would give the patient the best overall results.  Correction of gynecomastia was performed with liposuction and direct tissue removal via small areolar incisions.  This patient recovered quickly and was pleased with the smaller, more masculine appearance of his chest and areolas.
