This was a large keloid on the back of a 29 year old Asian man, refractory to many treatments over several years, including vascular laser, intralesional kenalog, and cryotherapy. I performed an "interlesional" cryotherapy technique using a flexible metal cannula, which allows for the keloid to be treated from the inside. This resulted in a reduction of ~95% of the bulk of the keloid after two treatments 6 weeks apart. The area is now soft and flat. This is the result 3 months after the first treatment.
