This is a 20-year-old woman who had a traumatic injury to her right forearm. During her reconstruction, skin grafts were applied, and she developed thick scars around the edges.

Dr. Sterry was able to surgically remove all of the skin graft and the thickened scars. Unharmed, "normal" skin was then closed over the wound during her scar revision treatment. Medicinal ointments were applied for the next several weeks.
