    This 45-year-old woman asked me to do something about the appearance of her neck. She said she would cover it up with scarves and turtle neck sweaters even during the spring and fall, but she had no alternatives during the summer months. She was quite upset about the appearance of her profile and thought that a Lazerlift would help. I agreed to perform the procedure for her under local anesthetic. A Lazerlift utilizes technology that has grown out of the Smartlipo™ laser-assisted liposuction model. It essentially seeks to tighten skin by diverting the laser energy perpendicular to the skin. The response is that the dermis becomes thicker over time as the collagen bundles react to the controlled heat.
