I had abdominal lipo and they sutured the incisions closed, and on the third day when the nurse removed them, my left side took her two passes as not all the material was removed the first time. I now have persistent numbness and swelling at that location 8 months later, and it seems to be getting worse. The doctor assured me it couldnt be a piece of suture material but it feels like it. I still have some sutures in my thighs and face from past procedures that havent cause issues
33 year old. With sagging jowls and double chin. Do I need a neck lift or liposuction and or suture under neck? Please help. Many drs are saying Im too young for a neck lift. Im afraid of sagging skin that may occur after Lipo. Injections, smart Lipo, and thread lifts did not work.
I had a Tummy Tuck in May 2015. I had Lipo to the abdomen on July 9th, 2018, so I'm 14 days Post Op. I have a very hard bulge about 2 to 3 inches above my Belly Button which doesn't seem to get better with massage. My question is could the Cannula have damaged the Internal Sutures on the muscle from the Tummy Tuck repair resulting in a hard lump, or will this bulge just go away with time?
Is it just swelling? Also on the sides and above bellybutton, its really hard to touch and also painful when I touch it. Doctor said it needs stretching, exercise and low salt diet so it can breakdown the hard surface. Also he said the sides are just swollen and it will take 6 month for it to go down ... so I have two questions, 1st. Is it really swelling and I wont be left with this kind of shape? 2nd. Is the incision sight normal and nothings wrong with it? I had stitches removed 1 day ago.
I have been waking up in the middle of the night with itchy palms, very intense! I know nutrition is a concern of my doctor, due to some sutures opening last week. But wondering if this is something I should be concerned about. Thank you!
