Ive always had a more athletic build since as long as I can remember! I have 3 kids now. They were spaced out every 4-5 years. My last I believe changed my body, to the point my stomach isnt as tight as it used to be and I also have some saggy skin above my belly button! I was looking into getting liposuction thinking this should solve my issue with my stomach but Im not sure if I have distasis recti? Im my same pre pregnancy weight but abdomen still is flabby. Which is unusual for me.
I have always gained weight/fat in my stomach. After two pregnancies I may have some diastasis recti, but it is nowhere near the severity Ive seen in most photos. Will I be OK with just lipo and no tummy tuck? Also will I have a lot of loose skin? Some loose skin is ok and my stomach does not need to be 100% flat flat, I dont mind. I would just prefer to do lipo and no tummy tuck if I can get away with it
I had hernia and diastasis recti repair surgery with mesh done a year ago. I had it done Robotic laparoscopic. I wanted to know if it's safe to have to have lipo of the stomach. The mesh is 20x12 cm. it's Symbotex into my abominal cavity.
I know I have diastasis recti I was already diagnosed and have been doing physical therapy to get the strength back in my pelvic floor. It's not bad only around my belly button. I'm scheduled for lipo with BBL. Will it affect the results of the lipo? I know I may have loose skin but I'm not ready for a tummy tuck as I still want to have kids. I'll do a mmo when I'm finished with children
So I know for a fact I have diastasis recti (Ive attached photos) but Im just wondering if I should start off with a full tummy tuck (due to how much down time it is) or should I start off with lipo then go back for a full tummy tuck when I have time to chill (I only can afford to miss 1 week of work) I had a 9lb baby & he is now 14month so I just would like my body back looking good but also want my back fat gone so I wanted to know if u think 360 lipo would be at all beneficial.
I am a mother of two, a 4 year old & a 3 year old. I had 2 c-sections. I went to a consultation for lipo an I was told by the surgeon that I had a hernia (as you can see) but he assured me he could work around it. I've also been doing some research on diastsis Recti and I even did the self check (just to make sure, I'm paranoid like that) and I honestly couldn't feel a gap between my abdomen. I am also not a MD so I'm not sure. I just want to be safe and get my money's worth. Help?
I had bad scar tissue from abdominal liposuction, so my new ABS surgeon said he was going to break up scar tissue with a cannula and fat graft. I didn't have pain before. When I woke up something was wrong, i had extreme burning from my belly button down to my pelvis. It felt like I was stabbed. It's been 7 months and it still burns and hurts and I have this bulge i never had. It looks like I'm pregnant. I think I have diastasis recti, is that even possible? Can a cannula cause diastasis recti?
My skin is pretty taught and doesn't bother me. However, my stomach does protrude beyond my breasts looking at me from the side angle. If I engage my abdominal muscles, I can get flat. But I'm unable to go around all day focusing on that. Maybe a full abdominoplasty / tummy tuck might be overkill - especially considering the long recovery time. I've had 3 cesareans, and my youngest is 20 mos. I'm looking for a less invasive procedure. Is ThermaLipo meant for someone with very little actual fat?
