I noticed that my lip never is how I like. I also noticed that my nasolabial fold became deeper and the skin next to my nose started to sag. Is that because of the weight from the fillers? I decided to have a lip lift in 12 months. I will dissolve the fillers before my operation so that my lip will be in their natural state. Can I reverse the damage if I dissolve my lipfillers, and can the sagging/lines become worse the longer I wait?
I found this procedure on the internet and am looking for someone who performs it as I have unilateral paralysis and have a general droop on that side (including specifically my upper lip on that side): Lip Lift Suspension: In this procedure, a single suture is used to elevate the upper lip- in other words- a thread is used to tighten and anchor the tissue in place. This procedure leaves no scar and it is reversible if you are unhappy with the result.
I would benefit from a bullhorn upper lip lift, the space between my nose and upper lip is too long and makes my upper lip too thin. However, if I got one, the space between my nose and top lip wouldn't be as even with the space between my bottom lip and chin, creating kind of a features-too-close-to-the-middle-of-face effect, as well as leaving my bottom lip the same size or smaller than the top. If I could pull my bottom lip away as well (gull wing?), it seems like it'd even all this out.
I had an Italian lip lift with a reduction of lips and it made my nose wider with hanging columella and removed my sills without any knowledge that this would affect my nose whatsoever . I never had a problem with my nose and only had a rhino many yrs ago to correct a broken bone . What should or can be done ? I have seen many drs and some say leave it alone and others say to fix it . Confused but not happy with it and doesn't feel like me with this nose
I had a lip lift 6 months ago, skin removed only, but my nasal base was so pulled down, now my nose was elongated, even tho the space between my upper lip and nose was shortened, my nose is now longer instead, so i still don't have the right facial proportion. I was wondering if my nasal base can be fixed and restored to its original place, or in other words, can my nasal base be lifted up ? Thanks!
I'm a young college student and got a lip lift. I really did not need one. The length of my upper lip was 16 mms, the surgeon removed 5 mms. I look horrendous. It's been over 6 months and I'm devastated. I want to get a tissue expander in my upper lip to gain a few mms back. Is this possible? Will it distort the shape of my lips, or will the results be even? Please give me any advice, I've already found a PS that will do this procedure, I just want to know if it would be beneficial. Please help.
is any way of reversing a lip lift by either dividing the muscle, tissue expansion or even maxillofacial surgery ? i find that my upper lip is short and i constantly look like im pouting. my top lip is also biggr than my bottom lip. my main dislike for this is that from side profile my nose to lip angle doesnt look as strong enough. ive already had a revision rhinoplasty involving tryiing to rotate the lip up but my doctor says that due to my lip musle and short lip i am limited.
