I went to another injector and they said it looks like it could be an allergic reaction. They recommended I take oral antihistamine (Allegra), a topical antihistamine, and I took predisone for the last 2 days. These have done nothing though. I'm getting worried this is permanent (or surgery needed). I've had Hyaluronidase other times with no allergic reactions or problems. it did seemed like they put quite a bit of Hyaluronidase. Has anyone seen this before? Any help is appreciated.
I got my upper lip removed with hyaluronidase, ( I have been injected with ultra Juvederm) I wanted my upper lip removed because it had migrated above my upper lip and I started looking ducky. immediately I started having a bad reaction to it, my whole face swelled up and it took about four days to go down with medication. The cosmetic nurse is refusing to do my lips & said I have to go to a plastic surgeon for it. is it safe for me to get fillers or no? my top lip is so thin compared to my lower lip
I had volbella injected in my lips and I ended up hating it. I've had it dissolved twice so far with very very little results. The most I've seen it do is soften up a bit but its all still in there. I know the vycross technology fillers are very hard to breakdown. I want to know if any realself physicians have ACTUALLY experienced dissolving a vycross filler and what was the outcome. Did it actually get rid of the filler? I'm nervous this is gonna hang around awhile. Please help.
I need filler removed but had a very severe allergic reaction and ended up in hospital. Obviously I can't have it again. What else will dissolve the rest of my bad filler? Can't bear to live it the migration of it above my lip. I look terrible and being made fun of. Please help. Thank you
Received 1cc Voluma total to the cheek area 3 weeks ago and within days I noticed something wasnt right. Dr believes I have all the symptoms of a very rare Voluma reaction due to hypersensitive immune response to foreign body causing inflammed hard nodule (likely infected but extraction was not able to draw liquid/pus), possible biofilm and infection. Augmentin/Clarithromycin 500mg 2x daily.Hylenex 50units ea cheek spaced 7 days apart is the plan. Is this enough Hylenex/frequency?Anything else?
Had 1ml filler done Weds bottom lip occluded, hyalase was used instantly and colour returned. 2 days after woke up in excessive agony across the chin area, returned to clinic and have been given antibiotics and steroid course. Still concerned this is necrosis? I have small white pimples developing. Also my concern was that I have a chin implant inserted 6 years ago, could the hyalase have effected this? The surgeon thinks I have either had a reaction to the hyalase or too much has been inserted.
I want to get hyaluronidase to dissolve juvederm voluma from an overfilled side of my cheek in a small area close to the nose on one side of my face, but am worried about adverse reaction. Could taking prednisone before injection help in preventing allergic reaction and/or swelling? I really want to match the overfilled side of my face with the more natural looking side rather than add filler to balance out the difference. Thanks.
I have read some accounts which suggest that people who have bee sting allergies (anaphylactic reactions) may have an increased risk of reacting to hyaluronidase. I have had Restylane placed in my eyelids but I am disappointed with the uneven results. Is it safe for me (with a bee sting allergy) to have hyaluronidase? Does this apply to all hyaluronidase products? Is allergy testing recommended prior to the injections?
