Hair Transplant + Crusty Q&A

4 days FUT. my donor has yellow crust. Not painful then usual ... is this infected or normal??? Is it true grafts are different from amount of strands that grow? Thanks for any help.

Hi. It is my second hair implant i just did. The first time, I was told to spray the grafts for first 3 days every 30 minutes, to keep grafts moist and to ensure scabs will fall faster. This is at least extremely common on internet reviews. Now my second time, different clinic, they told me not to spray at all, only wash every day and expectation from them is to send them a photo with my crust intact at day 14. if i leave the scabs and crust getting too hard, wouldn't it actually affect the grafts?

I'm 1 week post HT, per my doc instructions I started Gently with shampoo and conditioner beginning day 3. Over the past couple of days a lot of scab and crust came out with washing. I do not see any hair in the crust. I have tendency to rub my scalp and more crust comes out. I noticed few spots with little bleeding. I'm worried if my grafts are coming out. Your responses are appreciated. I'm attaching a photo.

my scrab and crust was a little bit hard and not easily remove whith wasing hair , i also not touch them during washing till 20 to 25 days of my transplant , because i think that if i touch them i loss my grafts. after 25 days of my transplant i start to touch them with fingure smotly . the crust is also soft and its easily remove. but now i am a little bit worry about this. so kaindly tell me that its normal or not.i upload pictures thankeyou

I applied Aloe Vera gel to the recepient area 10 days after surgery because i still have crusts and some blood clots I didnt help too much with the crusts but I noticed that the redness of scalp has decreased Does that means it decreases the blood flow to the grafts ? What is the cause of red scalp after FUE ?

Gently Massaged/Rubbed scabs/crust off on 8th and 9th day. Concerned I ruined surgery.

My concern is that my transplanted hair falling out with crust after 3 week of my operation and some hair are banded. And my crust is still not removed. So is it normal ?? Will my hair regrown ??

I have done transplant 10 days before and there was crust layer on scalp ..my doctor has said don't use shampoo..so I have removed dry crust gently by using and but I am worried now have I removed graft too.please suggest as I can see some empty hole insurance scalp without hair please..guide

I had my transplant on April 17th, it has been 7 days. Over the last 2 days I feel a burning and stinging in my donor area. Could it be infected or is this normal?

Hello. On my 12 days post up. I still have crusts on my scalp but been told by my doctor to be gentle until 14th day while washing my hair. The new hair volume though does seem to be low and hair distant between to reflect 3500 grafts (I know this is just post up) Will it be more dense volume after say 12 months post up! Sorry this may be a stupid question but just wanted your professional view on this. Does the density look normal on the 12th day post up? Much appreciated, Many Thanks.
