I will keep this short I had my FUE transplant on the 16th of jan I went in the day after for the follow up by the doctor today I washed my hair for the first time, applied lotion for 35-40 mins than applied shampoo mixed with water in a bottle. To ease the drying I gently patted my hair with a towel is this the right process as I've read mixed opinions. I'm just worried I don't knock the grafts out! Thank you
Hello doctors, Im currently 4.5 months after my FUE hair transplant, and I want to know if its okay to use any shampoo (high quality), Im currently using Biotin & Collagen Shampoo by Organix (pic attached), So my question is, is it ok to use this shampoo? Is it beneficial for my scalp and hair (native & transplanted)? Thank you, doctors.
I get a white paste of shampoo/conditioner stuck on my scalp on the FUE area that was transplanted. For some reason this occurs every time after washing my hair as per the instruction Ive been given. Is this normal ? Ive also developed some sort of flakes when the scalp is dry during the day.
3 weeks p/o FUE and I am using propecia, minoxidil, and biotin supplements. I get dry skin post minoxidil, can I use babyoil after to keep hair moisturized, how long after minoxidil use? Can I take creatine containing preworkout for the gym like C4 ultimate? Currently using baby shampoo for 1st month, what shampoo considered gold standard for max hair growth, caffeine containing/DHT blocking? LLLT (iRestore) use post fue studies/publications and recommendations. Thanks in advance for your help.
I have been told to apply the lotion half an hour before by dabbing gently using my hand on only the transplant area and then wash off using a jug, not under direct pressure of a shower. I was then told to do the same with the shampoo. Can anyone confirm if this is correct please?
So its been 6 days since my FUE Hair Transplant and Im starting to see little. Hairs attached to white stuff at the end of it start to fall off after shampooing , should I be worried ? Are these my grafts that have dislodged ? Are they hair shafts shedding ? I cannot tell help me please .
Hi all, On day 9 I decided to wash my head not only once but two times. Before the second time, I applied baby oil all over the recipient area for an hour or so before washing off to soften scabs. I washed in a circular motion with slight more pressure than usual. All looked fine to my eyes in the mirror. But I then took some photos with flash and realised there was blood on the grafts. My patient coordinator advised this is sizzling, the grafts may have moved inside the hole but not dislodged
50 days post hair transplant: for the last 3 years I have been suffering from the seborrheic dermatitis due to that at the donor area and some transplanted area whitish crusting and when I removed it, it came again and again. I've used Fluconazole, Itraconazole and many antifungal and antidandruff shampoos for the same but it continues on a particular area over the scalp. My doctor has given me a coal tar 1%shampoo, is it safe to use after a transplant?
