A tummy tuck will remove excess skin, tighten your abdominal muscles, and refine your waistline. Combining it with liposuction on the abdomen and flanks will help sculpt your midsection for a more defined appearance.

The decision to include fat transfer during your lipo 360 is a personal one. A lipo 360 naturally reduces your waist circumference, which can sometimes create a more pronounced hip and buttocks appearance. If you desire a fuller, more projected buttocks, combining fat transfer during the same procedure can be a great option.
Ultimately, both choices can lead to fantastic results. Some patients prefer a wider hip look, while others prioritize buttock enhancement. Vaser lipo 360 with fat transfer to the hips and buttocks can refine your waistline, provide some skin retraction, and create a more balanced silhouette.

60 year old female, 110lbs, mini thigh lift 5 months ago, can anyone make suggestions on scar placement? (Photo)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, with the "mini thigh lift," over time the scars typically descend, making the scar visible.
The scar appears flat with some mild redness. To help make the scar less visible, laser treatments or microneedling with radiofrequency can be done.

Are there any surgery procedures to help with loose skin above my knees? (Photo)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Treating excess skin of the legs comes down to a few major factors.
1. How much excess skin do you have?
2. Do you have any fat deposits?
3. Are you ok with a visible scar?
Based on the photos. it appears there is moderate to severe skin laxity of the thighs, mostly the anterior ( front) and inner thighs. with minimal fat deposits. This is commonly seen with massive weight loss and also aging.
Treatment typically would be a inner thigh lift which includes a vertical scar down the leg to allow for removal of the loose skin. For patients that do not wish to have a visible scar. Skin tightening with energy devices such as Renuvion or BodyTite can be done to help remove some of the laxity. However, when the laxity is severe as in this case, the energy devices are not as effective and can sometimes make the laxity more obvious.

Minimal skin laxity and localized fat: For those with minimal skin issues but stubborn fat pockets, liposuction can sculpt your body before considering surgery. Subsequent weight loss can enhance the results.

Considering multiple procedures after weight loss - can they be combined and how long should I wait between surgeries? (photos)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Congratulations on your weight loss journey. It is pretty common to combine procedures after weight loss. The sequence depends on your priorities, your surgeon's comfort, and of course safety. I personally do not like to spend more than 6- 7 hours in the operating room. I take in to consideration your mobility, meaning I will not combine an upper and lower extremity case together which would render you immobile. I also usually separate any facial surgery from any body surgery. Just keep in mind you have to be able to successfully recover. In regards to rounds, I typically wait at least 3 months to give your body adequate healing time.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Thanks for your question! Based on the photos, it appears that you have grade I ptosis and some mild breast asymmetry. Augmentation mastopexy would be an ideal solution to increase breast volume and reposition the nipple aerolar complex on the breast mound.
in regards to volume, the size of breast implants are dictated by your desires and your underlying anatomy, most importantly, your breast width. In addition, a breast lift and a breast augmentation or opposing procedures. As a breast lift is done to tighten the skin envelope whereas an augmentation expands the envelope. So, if a really large implant is used, the skin can be compromised and lead to wound healing issues such as: wound separation, nipple necrosis, skin necrosis.

Yes, you can get a BBL after butt implants. There is a small risk of implant rupture as a result of fat transfer. Because most gluteal implants are submuscular, the risk is low. You must also have enough fat to harvest in order to complete a fat transfer. Many patients that elect implants do so because they do not have enough fat!

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Thank you for your question. Based on the photos, it appears that you have excess skin of the lower abdomen and moderate fat deposits of your abdomen, flanks, and back. In addition, there seems to be component of visceral fat (fat surrounding your abdominal organs - inside fat).
Liposuction along with an energy device may improve the appearance, but is unlikely to completely address the skin laxity.
Ideal treatment would include weight loss, abdominoplasty with lipo 360. The downside is this option is more aggressive and will require some downtime.

Is it normal to have a pre-op breast augmentation appointment via video?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)It truly depends on your surgeon. I personally see all my pre-op patients in-person prior to surgery. Even the patients that are traveling from out of town. However, it is just my preference. The main reason for the visit is to prevent unexpected surprises and also to ensure I can meet my patients expectations.

Best plastic surgeon & tummy tuck experience ever! 2 months post-op
Deciding to move forward with this procedure was probably one of the biggest and scariest personal decisions of my life. For years, I have been wrestling with the unhappiness with my stomach and belly button area. I am fairly small and after having children, that was just one area that did not seem to improve, no matter all the creams, exercise, and treatments I’ve tried. I’ve visited several known surgeons in state and out of state but I was scared to pull the trigger. I’ve been following Dr. Jones for a while and decided that I would give it a final try and go in for a consultation. I went in not expecting much because in the back of my mind, I was expecting to be told that I was not a candidate and that I would have to live with the condition of my stomach for the rest of my life, but that was completely false. I am 6 weeks in post-op I'm still a little swelled but I am loving my results. Dr. Jones was exceptional.He is a surgeon who actually cares. I had been contemplating surgery for over a year and then Covid hit. Dr Jones recommended a tummy tuck which completely through me for a loop bc I thought I was a candidate for lipo 360. Now this required me doing additional research. I wasn't quite sold on having a permanent scar. But when I tell you, that he put the scar so low. Perfect. I have referred several people to him because he transformed my body and I am loving it.
