A: There are many different combinations that you can place the applicators.  The belly button can be avoided by using the little spacer that connects two separate brackets, or use the special bracket that has a wider gap.  As long as the brackets are fitted to get more "pillows", you should have great results. 

A: It is generally recommended to have at least 2 treatments per area for best results.  You do not "have" to do 2+ treatments, but we do find that the results are much better and patients are much happier with at least 2 treatments.  Some people may need more as the area being treated has more fat content, each treatment that is done can reduce up to 24% of fat.  Overall, it is up to you and how your body response to the treatment.  Hope this helps.  

A: I have seen really great results with Cynosure (Palomar)'s Icon platform.  It is a quick 10-15 mins treatment, very tolerable, and results can be seen with just 2 to 3 treatments.  Hope this helps.

A: Some patients do feel tenderness and have nodules after Sculpsure treatments.  The nodules are from the destroyed fat cells which are being processed and removed naturally from your body's lymphatic system (inflammatory response). They are temporary and can last for a few days/weeks which varies individually.  You are doing the right thing by drinking more water and massaging twice a day.  Your body is responding to the treatment and you should get great results.
