I had a full face fat transfer just over 6 months ago. At 6 months, my volume looked great, however, it suddenly almost all vanished within 2 weeks. My weight has not changed. Six weeks ago, I started Tacrolimus ointment on my face for some dry skin. Being that this is an immune suppressant topical, it lead to me breaking out with Rosaceiform dermatitis which is caused by infestation of demodex mites. How is volume loss possible from mites/rosacea?
I had facial fat transfer just under 6 months ago. My dermatologist put me on Tacrolomis ointment to treat some dry skin on my lower face. After a month of using this ointment, I developed extremely flaky skin that spread to my full face, accompanied by a red rash under the skin. My derm said it's dermatitis. My question is can contact or seborrheic dermatitis affect the fat cells in the skin, or could it impact my newly transferred fat being able to establish blood flow? I feel like it has
I had fat grafting done under my eyes 6 months ago. When I push down on it, there is a long hard lump underneath the same size..can I use RF to dissolve the fat to make it go down or is it scar tissue ? If so what are the treatment options for that? It's bothering me so much it looks so bad.
Had a fat transfer to cheeks 6 months ago. Haven't lost any of the fat until about a week ago. But Im losing only on the right side of my face. Ive had no injuries or infections on that side. Its a small amout and not terribly noticeable yet. But I was wondering if maybe my body is taking fat from one side, but will eventually take from the other side too? Thank you for your advice!
I have fat graft done 6 months ago. I have notice an uneven soft lump on one side of my face. I have contacted my surgeon and she said it is swelling that has not subside but I dont think it is so I continue to complain to her about it. She told me if I am not happy she can do lipolysis to help reduce it. I dont trust her by now and wonder what causes this.
I had fat transferred to my face 6 months ago and was curious if these residual fat pockets could be removed with just a syringe in office or if I truly would require a whole operation? They are very tiny BUT noticeable. They show more when I smile, which I do a lot of. They are soft to the touch and give a weird appearance from front and profile. They are both located right above my ear and below my temples. Thank you.

Facial fat transfer didn't last - 6 months out. My fat transfers don't seem to have taken. At 3 months great! Now 6 months - not so much. The lift now seems slack. I am happy with the browlift and skin resurfacing results, but often in tears re:fat transfer fail.
I had fat transferred to my face six months ago for nasal folds and lines at corners of my mouth; when the swelling subsided; the folds and lines were still very visable; apparently the fat transfer didn't take; now a few days ago I had Restylane injections for the nasal folds and for the lines at the corner of my mouth; the next day the folds were back and so are the lines? Why didn't these two treatments work? Confused and angry!!
A doc on realself stated that the ice packs too the face can freeze the grafts. If this happens, is it possible to kill the grafts causing reabsorption? Can this still happen at 3 to 6 months post op? How stable are fat transfer 3 to 6 months post op?
