Loosing fat 6 months after cheek fat transfer - will this eventually even out?

Had a fat transfer to cheeks 6 months ago. Haven't lost any of the fat until about a week ago. But Im losing only on the right side of my face. Ive had no injuries or infections on that side. Its a small amout and not terribly noticeable yet. But I was wondering if maybe my body is taking fat from one side, but will eventually take from the other side too? Thank you for your advice!

Fat transfer results are typically fairly close to final by three months and generally do not change much after six months from the procedure. 
Facial fat transfer is by its very nature somewhat unpredictable and precise and unforgiving. some of the injected fat will survive and some of it will not.
There are a multitude of variables that determine fat survival. One of these is the presence or absence of sufficient host tissue to support the graft. areas with an abundance of host tissue and more likely to retain fat that survives in a higher percentage while the areas that are devoid of host tissue will have a higher percentage of graft failure.
