I have dentures and they fit fairly nicely. Most people don't even know I don't have my own teeth. I am positive that I am going to have a facelift and I have booked my consultation. My biggest worry is about my teeth. Will I be able to wear them immediately after surgery? My significant other has never seen me without them and, although I know he loves me, I don't think I am ready for that day, yet.
Went to a chain dental and made a huge mistake letting them talk me into extracting all my uppers and getting dentures. I look 10-15 years older and it has made a substantial change for the worse in my appearance. I would like to have a plan to reverse this sunken in, no lip, clownlike appearance. Where, or with what type of specialist do I start? Do I try new dentures, fat graft, fillers, facelift., or what to at least resemble my former self?
I'm assuming from past experience that you cannot wear dentures under anesthesia, how will this affect the surgeons ability to make judgements on incisions and stitches, since not wearing them changes the appearance of your face
