I will be forever grateful for Dr Oguzhan Oguz. I had revision surgery with him in July 2024 after previously having a failed primary surgery in the Philippines. Prior to my surgery with Oguz, my self-confidence was at an all-time low. I suffered with anxiety and hated my nose. After a lot of research i chose Dr Oguz and am so grateful i did. Oguz and his team (Artun & Irem) are fantastic, kind and friendly. They are always available to offer their advice and guide you through the process. Oguz puts you at ease immediately during consult and is very honest on what he can and cannot achieve. There is no such thing as the perfect nose but my results are pretty close! I am still in the healing process but wanted to share my initial review for those who may be looking to go with Oguz. He is a very skilled surgeon and has given me my confidence back and more.
I had surgery 2.5 years ago because I was very uncomfortable with the appearance of my nose. Good thing I chose Doctor O?uz. I am very pleased. I got a very natural nose exactly as I wanted. Thank you very much to him.
It s been almost a year since my surgery and I am so happy with my nose, I didn t have major problems during this time and I see now my nose is healed, he is such a great doctor I am so happy that i did this and that i had an amazing team by my side
It was a successful experience during and after the surgery. I'm very satisfied with the doctor and his team. The first week was a little difficult. I couldn't breathe very well because of the tampons. After the tampons came off and my swelling started to go down, I liked my nose and I didn't have any breathing problems.
As a professional fighter, my nose was repeatedly traumatized and I was having difficulty breathing because of this. After long research, I found doctor Oguz and decided to have surgery. I was wondering if I could continue professional sports after the operation, but I learned that my nose would be as strong as before 1 year after the operation. My surgery was very successful and I didn't even believe myself that it would actually turn out like this. My septum deviation has improved, my breathing problem is completely gone, my low nose tip has improved and most importantly, my appearance is much better now. Now I will only train for a long time and when I am fully recovered, I intend to return to my sports life. A thousand thanks to my doctor and his team. I hope I don't need it again, but if I need it, I will definitely come back to my doctor :)
Im so happy that I found Doctor because he did amazing job on my nose . I wanted completly new nose that would be goodnfor my face I trusted To Doctor and I did get that! Im now 6months post op and nose getting better and better. Whole care was amazing, hospital is like 5star hotel and whole time I felt safe because I was in contact with doctor and his team. I went alone and this was first surgery ever for me so it was intence experince but thanks to doctor and his team I felt safe and secure. At cast off my nose was very swollen but thats normal and with little bit of patience now I have my dream nose. I had deviated septum and thats is fixed and my breathing is great now. Doctor Oguz is very kind and warm person. Im very gratefull for my new nose! I would recomend him always!
Dr. Oguz was the best decision I've ever made. When I was young I had difficulties of breathing and many of my friends made fun of my nose. It was croked, deviated and big. I broke my nose 2 times and traumas could be seen easily. The side profile was a disaster. For long years I didn't feel ready and confident to have this surgery. But now I regret every single day I've waited. Wish I did it earlier. The clinic, the hospital, the staff everything was great. Not a single minute I felt anxious. Now I have my dream nose and I keep taking selfies :)
I had been pondering getting this surgery (rhinoplasty) for a long time, it was not something I took lightly. I took my time researching about the procedure, saving money, and finding someone who could give me what I was looking for. Which was a nose that would be easier to breath with, to straighten it, since I had a deviated septum that was quite noticeable and a little bump. I mostly wanted this nose to suit my face, to bring harmony and be natural and functional. I think I hit the jackpot when I found Doctor Oguzhan, the moment he saw me he was so understanding and made me feel very safe, I knew I was in good hands, he was very knowledgeable and you can tell this is what he loves, this is a very talented man with an artist eye and full of integrity. I took advantage of the package that offers a driver since I had never been to Turkey and was unfamiliar, and let me tell you it was 100% worth it, our driver Artun was the best coordinator I could have asked for and made this whole process so much easier, truly a very helpful and thoughtful person, it was smooth sailing for me. The office and hospital where absolutely wonderful, very beautiful and clean, and all the nurses were all incredibly lovely and caring. My healing was very fast and they were always available for any questions even weeks after. To this day I cannot believe my luck to have found such an amazing Doctor, my nose is EXACTLY what I wanted, I look like a better happier version of myself, no one else.
Dr Oguz is amazing. From the beginning of my journey up until now (5months PO) I cannot fault anything about his care or skills. I took the transport package and right from the airport collection it was clear to me I was going to be well looked after. Artun put me at ease and isn't just the driver, he helps with so much more. Dr Oguz has a team of staff which adds to the positive experience from Pinar his assistant to Hilal his nurse everyone is so lovely. It may be unnerving to book to see a Turkish surgeon without a consultation but I knew I had made the right choice on consult day. Oguz took photos of my nose and put them on a big screen, I didn't even need to tell him what was wrong with my nose he told me and then asked me what I felt was wrong with it. I knew then that he would fix my issues. The hospital is absolutely gorgeous and Hilal and Artun came with me and helped me get ready for the op. Following the operation again Hilal was there until the early hours of the morning. The next day I went home and Artun collected me, he took me to the pharmacy to collect my medication and took me back to my hotel. Messages were sent to check up on me by Hilal. I would text Artun or Hilal with any questions and they were answered promptly, nothing was too much trouble. Cast off day the staff were so kind, I was very swollen on my face so the result wasn't fully there but I could see the huge difference already. My operation was a revision (3rd operation so I expected the swelling). I absolutely love my nose, I 100% made the right choice going with Oguzhan Oguz and I would and do recommend him to anyone! He is completely ethical and is so passionate about his role. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner.
One of the best doctor and very professional. I would recommend to this person. I always feel like I get plenty of time to explain my issues without feeling rushed. I've managed to get in to be seen within a timely manner even without an appointment. The staff is great and have fabulous bedside manners. I'm very impressed with this facility.
Let-down and preservation rhinoplasty are relatively new techniques that have been developed to address some of the limitations of traditional rhinoplasty procedures. While these techniques can provide excellent results for many patients, like any surgical procedure, they are associated with some risks and potential complications. Some of the potential complications that can occur after let-down or preservation rhinoplasty include: Swelling and bruising: Swelling and bruising are common after any type of rhinoplasty procedure and can take several weeks to resolve. Infection: Infection is a risk with any surgery, and can occur after let-down or preservation rhinoplasty. Your surgeon will take steps to minimize the risk of infection, such as using sterile techniques and prescribing antibiotics, but it's still important to be aware of the signs of infection and contact your surgeon if you experience any symptoms. Bleeding: Bleeding can occur during or after the surgery, and can sometimes be severe. Your surgeon will take steps to minimize bleeding during the procedure, but it's important to follow post-operative instructions to avoid activities that may increase the risk of bleeding. Pain and discomfort: Pain and discomfort are common after any type of surgery, but can usually be managed with pain medication and other strategies. Complications related to the grafts: In let-down and preservation rhinoplasty, cartilage or tissue grafts are often used to reshape the nose. While these grafts can provide excellent results, there is a risk of complications such as graft displacement, shifting, or absorption. It's important to discuss any potential complications with your surgeon before the procedure, and to follow all post-operative instructions carefully to minimize your risk of complications and ensure the best possible outcome.
There is always a risk of tissue necrosis (death of tissue) with any surgical procedure, including rhinoplasty. However, the risk of necrosis is generally low for most patients undergoing open rhinoplasty with dorsal augmentation and tip cartilage. Necrosis can occur if there is a disruption in blood flow to the tissues, which can be caused by a variety of factors including trauma to blood vessels, excessive tissue dissection, and prolonged pressure on tissues. However, experienced and skilled plastic surgeons take great care to minimize these risks by carefully planning and executing the procedure and monitoring the patient's condition during and after surgery. Some factors that may increase the risk of necrosis include smoking, diabetes, and other medical conditions that affect blood flow and healing. It's important to discuss your medical history with your surgeon before the procedure and follow their pre- and post-operative instructions to minimize your risk of complications. If you have concerns about the risk of necrosis or any other potential complications, it's important to discuss them with your plastic surgeon prior to the procedure. Your surgeon can provide you with specific information about the risks associated with your particular procedure and any steps you can take to minimize those risks.
Scar tissue is a natural part of the healing process after any surgical procedure, including revision rhinoplasty. While it's not possible to completely eliminate scars, there are several things you can do to minimize their appearance: Follow your surgeon's post-operative care instructions: Your surgeon will likely provide specific instructions on how to care for your incisions after surgery, such as keeping the area clean and avoiding activities that could put stress on the area. Following these instructions can help minimize the risk of complications and promote optimal healing. Keep the area moisturized: Keeping the area moisturized can help minimize the appearance of scars. Your surgeon may recommend using a specific type of ointment or cream to apply to the incision site. Avoid sun exposure: Sun exposure can darken scars and make them more noticeable. It's important to avoid direct sunlight and to use sunscreen when outdoors to protect the area. Massage the area: Massaging the area can help break up scar tissue and promote optimal healing. Your surgeon may recommend specific massage techniques or refer you to a physical therapist who can provide specialized scar massage therapy. Consider scar treatments: There are several treatments available that can help minimize the appearance of scars, including laser therapy, silicone gel sheeting, and injections of corticosteroids. Your surgeon may recommend one or more of these treatments based on the type and severity of your scars. It's important to keep in mind that everyone heals differently, and the appearance of scars can vary from person to person. It's also important to have realistic expectations for your results and to be patient with the healing process. If you have concerns about the appearance of your scars after revision rhinoplasty, it's important to speak with your surgeon to discuss your options for minimizing their appearance
Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that affects the digestive system and can cause a wide range of symptoms, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and weight loss. While there is no direct link between Crohn's disease and filler reactions, it's possible that some individuals with Crohn's disease may be more prone to developing certain types of immune reactions, which could potentially impact their body's response to filler injections. It's important to note that there are a variety of factors that can contribute to an individual's response to filler injections, including their overall health, lifestyle habits, genetics, and the specific type of filler that was used. Allergic reactions or other adverse reactions to filler injections are rare but can occur, and can happen even months or years after the initial injection. If you have a history of Crohn's disease and are considering getting filler injections, it's important to speak with your healthcare provider or the professional who will be performing the injections to discuss your medical history and any potential risks or concerns. They may recommend alternative treatments or a different type of filler to minimize the risk of any adverse reactions. It's also important to seek prompt medical attention if you experience any unusual symptoms after receiving filler injections, such as swelling, redness, or pain in the injection site.
Lumps or nodules can occur after dermal filler injections, including lip fillers, and can be caused by a variety of factors. Some possible causes of lumps or nodules after lip filler injection include: Overfilling: If too much filler is injected, it can create a visible lump or bump. Injection technique: If the filler is injected too close to the surface of the skin or in the wrong area, it can create a lump. Inflammation: Inflammation can occur as a result of the injection process, which can create a lump or bump. Infection: In some rare cases, an infection can occur at the injection site, which can create a lump or bump. If the lump or nodule is small and not causing any pain or discomfort, it may go away on its own over time as the filler settles and the body absorbs it. However, if the lump is large or causing discomfort, it's important to speak with the healthcare provider or the professional who performed the injection to determine the best course of action. In some cases, the healthcare provider or professional may recommend massaging the area to help break up the lump or bump. If the lump is due to overfilling or injection technique, it may be necessary to dissolve the filler using an enzyme injection. In some cases, surgical intervention may be necessary to remove the lump. It's important to note that every individual may react differently to lip fillers and may have a different experience with lumps or nodules. If you are concerned about a lump or nodule after lip filler injection, it's important to speak with a healthcare provider or the professional who performed the injection to determine the underlying cause and develop an appropriate course of treatment.
