Mini dental implants are a good option for people who don’t want, or aren’t good candidates for, the invasive surgery associated with traditional dental implants. For example, you may have lost too much bone mass in your jaw to receive traditional implants, have a smaller than average jaw, or don’t have enough space between two existing healthy teeth for a traditional implant. Mini implants are also a way to stabilize dentures so they don’t move around while chewing or talking. (Existing dentures can be retrofitted for mini implants.)
