Had 3 Implants Done at Picasso Dental Clinic in Hanoi. Highly Recommended.
WORTH IT
I had 3 implants and a bridge done at Picasso Dental Clinic in Hanoi near Old Quarter, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results.
The work was excellent and I'd recommend the clinic to other travelers. A few notes for the clinic and for anyone thinking of getting treatment here:
1. The implant dentist was very professional. He sat down with me, walked through the options, and gave his recommendation after going over my X-rays and CT scan carefully. The coordinator sorted out all the scheduling around my travel dates, which mattered a lot since I only had a short window in Vietnam. The surgery room was modern and clearly kept to a high standard.
2. I'd suggest the team introduce themselves and quickly explain what they're about to do. When I first sat down I wasn't always sure who was the dentist and who was the assistant. Name tags with each person's role, plus the dentists' diplomas displayed somewhere visible, would give patients more confidence. I'd also gently mention the assistants should stay focused on the procedure and avoid chatting amongst themselves during the work.
3. They clearly understood what international patients need and gave me documents in English for insurance reimbursement back home. They also handed over my images and scans, and to their credit these were easy to open and forward to my own dentist, which made the aftercare much simpler.
Overall, Picasso Dental met my expectations on both medical skill and how friendly the staff were. The small points above are the kind of things that would take an already very good clinic and make it excellent. Hope this helps the clinic and anyone else planning dental work in Hanoi.
