I have lost my four upper teeth three months ago. I have consulted a doctor, he said that if I need bone grafting then it could be done in one day and then imlants can be implanted immediately afterwards! Is this possible nowadays??
A Tooth was extracted and bone graft done at the same time. Since then about 30 days ago I noticed my bottom front Teeth have moved, (the teeth were already crowded) crowding and causing one tooth to move in front of the other. The tooth on bottom front is causing the top front tooth to start sticking out. The front of bottom tooth touches and is pushing against the top front tooth from behind it. Can a Bone Graft cause teeth to move?
I had a molar extracted and bone graft done about 3 months ago. Now my jaw bone is extruding out of my gum beside my tongue and it's very painful. Is this normal? Is it fixable? Will the gum grow back?
apr 2012-#8 tooth fx, implant failed Jan 2013-2nd implant placed Jan 2014-restoration and ant bone graft placed no pain until May 2014-3 1/2 months after the last procedure, the perio palpated the ant bone graft on my follow up exam. To me it was a hard pressure but he said he just palpated the area. Since then, I have been having pain on the area where he put pressure on. Did he do any damage on the graft site by putting pressure on it? I really don't know why I started to have pain after that.
