I have had the Pearl fractional laser done more than 2 times with beautiful results and no issues. The tightening was impressive as well as the diminished lines. I have moved from the area where lasers were abundant, to an area that has limited lasers I found a place that uses CO2 fractional laser, however, the team seems reluctant to treat me reasoning that I have olive skin. Is there really that much of a difference between Pearl and CO2 that I should be concerned?
I am nervous because I have read that dark olive skin people should not get laser resurfacing due to scarring and hyper-pigmentation. I know I need to stay out of the sun and will totally do if I get this procedure done. What are your thoughts? If you do not recommend laser what would you recommend? If I can not get these syringoma eliminated, what treatment would you suggest to just make my overall skin look younger and healthier?
Hi I have acne scars. Im Indian skinned. So its like type 3 skin to 4. Olive skin . Is it possible to perform full Co2 laser or erbium laser on my skin or do the laser in phases ? If so how ?
I usually mix my retin A with some moisturizer (so it is not full strength), could I continue using it at night up to a week before the procedure? My second question is: is fraxional co2 truly a LOT safer than the old co2 with regards to risks of any change in pigmentation? (I have olive skin). Thank you in advance for your answers;)
I'm 23, olive skin and had non-fractional co2 laser performed on my face for acne scarring. It been 6 months to date and i am still very pink/red (blotchy). The doc told me I'm a slow healer. How much longer for the redness to go away??? Will it ever? Please help. I been extremely diligent with sunscreen, vitamins, drinking plenty of water.
