Hi, Im a 40 year old white male. I have a bit of acne scarring on my nose and deeps pores. I also have a scar on my cheek from my dermatologist cutting too deep into my skin. Ive had roughly 30 blue peel chemical peels, 2 Aqua Gold treatments, A glicolic chemical peel and Ive done at-home micro needling. Nothing seems to heal these scars. Any recommendations or suggestions for permanent healing?
I have deep acne scars on my nose and I have tried lots of chemical peels. Did one session of co2 laser and but I dont see any improvement? Is there any other treatment I need to do, it is really frustrating after spending time and money Im seeing no results:(
Im a 27 year old female with a long history of acne. Gained about 90% control over it but dealing with scars and VERY large pores. And they are looking much worse as Im creeping up to my 30s. Expression lines look worse too because of the texture, it makes me look much older. I want to have co2 done but open to suggestions of how to address pls + ty! :)
I am looking to do a CO2 laser around my eyes to address creepiness and some scaring post upper/ lower bleph. however, my eye surgeon offereded to my entire face. I do have laugh lines and little lines around my lips( not a smoker or drink from straws, but I do have naturally big lips and am also a very expressive person). I am very modest on what I do with my face, good skin care reg and microneeding. I am worried about scaring or burning. Is this common? I do scar easy.
I've been getting CO2 facials done regularly under low intensity. The redness is minor and I usually look completely healed after 5 days. I'm just wondering if I can also get HIFU treatments in between my CO2 treatments. If so, how long do I need to water after the CO2 laser to get HIFU done?
I have east asian pale skin. does laser resurfacing lead to skin thinning over time? specifically ablative lasers like co2, does the epidermis grow back? or is the skin thinned over time from the treatment, I know it tightening and promotes collagen production but is skin thinning part of the result of doing co2 lasers? will it leave the skin more sensitive and exposed afterwards especially if it is done on and around the eyelids to tighten the skin? I dont want to thin the fragile skin.
It is known that procedures such as CO2 lasers and microneedling provide controlled damage to skin tissues in order to stimulate new collagen synthesis. However, it is known that when injury occurs, collagen is quickly built to protect the skin,so it isn't woven tightly like the the most ideal type of collagen and that usually results in scar tissue. How is this any different with collagen induction? Does the collagen build slower with controlled damage as opposed to damage from cystic acne which results in atrophic acne scars? I want to have my acne scars remodelled, will the scar tissue be replaced with better collagen? I have heard that caffeine slows collagen production. Would it be wise to slow down the collagen production so the wrong types don't get created and would collagen powder speed up the bad types of collagen?

I get C02 laser treatment on my breast augmentation scars every so often and am curious how long after the laser I can use silicone scar sheets. I ave only been using gel because the skin is so red and almost scaley after treatment, but much prefer the sheets.
