I went to three doctors. The other two said I need the lollipop. When I expressed my worry with her she said the others with similar procedures to mine it is gone at 6 weeks. Well it wasn't and then she said 3 months. That's when I asked the nurse what happens of it never goes away? The nurse was saying if it doesn't it would be scar revision and cost money. So I wanted to know if this is normal. Thanks!
3 weeks and 3 days post op and still have puckering over my left incision, right is perfect.. just curious to know what causes this and how long it generally takes to flatten.. Ive found its actually got better already using a silicone based gel to massage it with but still not ideal so would just like some reassurance
Hello, I had a breast aug w/lift and tummy tuck in Jan and I'm hitting right at the 6 mths almost. I had 450 silicone placed. I have puckering only in my left breast, it's very noticeable. Last time I went to the doctor 3 months ago she did a steroid injection in the sight and said the next time she sees me she most likely will do it again if it still is there. I guess my overall question is have you seen this work it's waynout with time or what has been seen as a success? Thank you
I'm very happy with my results and know they will drop. My only worry is that my left incision is visible and my breast is puckered. I had an anchor lift 4 years ago and I believe he cut in those incisions. Does this look typical for 3 day post? I see my surgeon in 3 days.
I had breast augmentation surgery 8 days ago and today they removed my strips. The scar looks bad to me, as if its pluckering or sticking out, as if the skin is folded. I asked the nurse and she said its fine. Will this go away and will the scar be flatten out with time? Is there something wrong? Is there something I can do? This is my second time getting a breast augmentation, first time was 3 years ago. Got another augmentation to get bigger implants (from 230 cc to 430 cc now)
I just took my tape off my incisions and I noticed they are puckering? And look weird to me :( is this something that will heal on its own or am I just going to be messed up??:( also is it safe to use my silicon strips on my incisions now with that puckering or should I wait a while to see if they flatten out? I'm so nervous about all of this :( Thank you, ThatGirl8
