Is it normal to have puckering around the nipple? Will it go away with time? (Photo)

Dear songeestar,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast lift surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. and the con of a Benelli lift is the puckering around the areola (in addition to other issues I dislike) that will smoothen with time to where it usually is negligible down the road.  Be patient and if its persists beyond 6 months from your procedure, a revision must be considered BUT it is no guarantee that scar will be better as there is more tension on the scars from a Benelli than with the lollipop.  Your photos show a good outcome, even with the puckering.

 You are still pretty early out to be judging any final results. The tissues are still swollen. Anytime this type of lift is performed, there is a lot of tension around the areola. It can take around 6 Months to even a year to see true final results. If you are unhappy, please visit your Surgeon and see what you’re options are. A scar revision may be necessary, or in a more severe case, a full anchor incision lift to take tension off of that area.
