Hello and thank you for answering my question I am 54 yrs old and scheduled to have breast augmentation with silicone implants using submuscular placement. I am physically active and have a thin muscular build. I am currently a 34B and was told a breast lift is not needed. I do have dense breast tissue and get a 3D mammo and ultrasound every year. No issues and no family history of breast cancer. My concerns are deformity when chest muscles being activated. Would subfascia be better choice?
Hi, I am a 46yr old female. 5 6 and 164 pounds. I recently did a tummy tuck, and now my boobs seem more droopy. I guess the top of my belly was holding them up. I am currently wearing a size 34G bra. I would like to know if I can get implants to make my breast perkier as they are pointing down. I have lots of breast tissue. I don't want a breast lift or reduction because I like my breast how they are, I just need them up.
I'm a 47 year-old with two children, 5'6 and 130 lbs, athletic build 34 B. My breasts have relatively good nipple position, but they are deflated. My objective is to look natural for my age (b/c cup) and gain volume in the upper poles. I have had conflicting advice on whether I require a lift or not. One surgeon told me a simple implant should be fine another suggested a lift, or to try an implant and if I wasn't happy to go back an do a lift. I would love to avoid the vertical scar.
Hello I am a 55 year old woman. I have lost 280 pounds and my breast have deflated. I am wondering what happens with the skin and if getting a breast implants would help?. Also do we always lose the sensation of the nipples?
I'm looking to become a full c cup that looks more natural. My dr recommends anywhere from 400cc to 450cc. I feel they might be a little too big and feel that maybe 350cc to 390cc might look better. Any advice please?
I have had a breast reduction/anchor scar with implant removal in 2006. I will be 50 in a few months and am wondering about having implants again as I have since had a loss of weight and breast sag. I am currently a 36D cup with a very large ribcage so my previous implant size was DD. My scars aren't terrible from the lift but they are visible. The vertical scars are a bit wide and still quite pink but the lateral under boob scars are very well healed.
In my50s,have had saline (over the muscle) implants for years right one always goes hard, replaced twice, last time 12 years ago. Leaned over couch on right breast and felt quick intense pain in breast but now throbbing pain like I pulled a muscle and hurts more when I cough. Have not noticed change in breast after 3 days. Going for physical today and not sure whether to request altrasound or just see new surgeon I have consultation with next week as recently moved. Could this be a rupture? Thx
I have ALWAYS wanted a BA but was terrified to have surgery-that is until i recently had emergency appendectomy and learned it wasnt that bad! My quesion is-im in pretty good health-no medications-can stand to lose a good 40 pounds! My husband supports me either way -i plan to have subglandular implants only (no lift). I would love to schedule this as soon as i lose my weight just in time for my 30th anniversary! Do relatively healthy 50 year olds have more complications? Thanks soo much!
